UPDATE: technical support from MH reached out and was very adamant on making things right. They took the defective printer back and had a new one to my house the next day; was actually amazed at how fast they got a new one to me. I think the bigger issue is Crealitys product and not the fault of Matterhackers. They were very professional and helpful throughout my ordeal and in the end got it fixed.
Very frustrating experience. Was going to go to Micro Center but thought I would see this place since it was fairly close. Ended up purchasing a k1 max online, shipment and everything was very fast and on time.
The printer however is a different story. Received the printer, worked for about a day and then completely bricked. Getting error 2505 and when I finally got in touch with Creality they told me the mainboard needs to be replaced. After that creality has been 0 support. Matterhackers is falling into that category. I make my income with my printers and so far customer support has been extremely slow, as in 1 email a day. And each time it goes to my spam folder so I don't even see it right away. I apparently cannot get the part replaced because they haven't deemed the printer unoperational...this baffles me. So I am currently left in the dark waiting on an answer because I apparently can neither return nor exchange the printer without paying a big fee. Not sure I'll be back here.
Just to be clear, at no point was anyone at MH rude or anything. Quite the opposite. They are always extremely nice and respectful. It is just the process of all this that is frustrating. Don't see how they can sell me a defective printer that I've had less than a week, and charge me 15% of a $900 purchase for a return or exchange on top...

I did my homework and shopped around. And while I did find a cheaper similar bundle option on the printer we purchased, there are 2 things that make me WANT to give MatterHackers our company's business;
1 - Garrett Cheevers and the amazing buying experience we have felt thus far from Garrett. Which is a direct result of Everything said in the aforementioned statement as well as Garrett's knowledge and never-ending answers to our questions. These sentiments are echoed by a high level engineer / CAD engineer and the way you knew the answers to his questions...it was like you 2 worked together and were just talking shop. Garrett made him and I both feel exceptionally comfortable making this investment for the business and more so, making the investment by way of MatterHackers. It felt as if Garrett was a member of the leadership team of MatterHackers, and he made us feel very important and at ease to make the purchase.
2 - The MatterHackers Lifetime Phone and Email Support.

For me to do so, you would have to do something so exemplary, so jaw dropping and so amazing with a possible intervention from the Almighty himself, for me to open my laptop and type a review. Well let me tell you, that is exactly what Nick and Garrett at MatterHackers did! I was having a huge problem with one of my printers and big brain Nick took time out of his day to explain to me, down to the microscopic level, on how Carbon Fiber filament works and what I needed to do to my printer to get it to work. If that wasn't enough he took the time and walked me through detailed slicer settings to help me get the best out of my printer. Garrett was absolutely welcoming and top notch customer service, Garrett made me feel like I was an old friend that came to visit rather than just some yahoo of the street. He showed me around the place and really took the time to understand my problem and what he needed or could do to fix it, which is. he introduced me to my spirit animal, Nick. Without Garrett's outstanding product knowledge, willingness to help and genuine interest in me and what I was doing and going through, I would be down a 3d printing rabbit hole of endless printer poop! .
