Wahoo's Fish Taco — Restaurant in Lake Forest

While technically considered a fast-food spot, Wahoo’s is anything but. The quality, freshness, and flavor are miles ahead of typical fast food, and it consistently satisfies on every level, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and a menu full of variety. It’s also a hit with the kids thanks to all the choices.

This time I went with a banzai bowl, and it was amazing, balanced, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Aside from one “ok” experience at the LAX Airport location, Wahoo’s has never disappointed me. It’s my go-to for a quick meal that still feels like real, quality and healthy food.

Before I forget, chips salsa and guacamole is always great here.

Love these guys, genuinely nice people!!! Decent value for the price. Comfy dining room. Guys come by n ask about the meal. Friendly knowledgeable staff n Mgmt. Clean restrooms... There is an outside patio for extra seating. Not their fault but it can get toasty in the summer. Forget if they had umbrellas or not. Patio is fenced if you like your beer in the sun :)

Update - Not just fish now... They do reasonable carne asada and carnitas too. Cooked tender on site in ovens. Was so good in a salad. Have never failed to satisfy....

Love them - tasty food, good options. Friendly location too.

Edit September '18: Took a star off because it happens only at this location. They keep asking "Is everything ok?" on the go every time they are running by. Every time I just sadly follow them with my eyes being unable to respond due to a mouthful of food. They actually do want you to respond and kinda pause waiting for you to mumble something and/or vigorously nod and/or signal with your hands. It slowly started to get on my nerves because it happens every...
