My 8 year old son attended summer camp at Etnies and had an absolute blast! First off what an incredible facility! We’re so lucky to live nearby this amazing skate park. The weekly camp consists of a variety of fun games, activities, obstacle courses, skills training, and contests that kids love to participate in. On their last day they even had a water balloon fight followed by an ice cream party. Everyday is a different theme which makes it super exciting for all attendees. And to top it off, lunch is included from places like Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle, Cane’s and Ballpark Pizza. The camp is incredibly well organized by a really fun group of energetic instructors who make everyone feel comfortable at whatever level they may be. I have to mention one specific instructor who helped my son achieve his goal. Shane was extremely patient and encouraging and helped my son build up the confidence he needed in order to overcome his fear. Shane must’ve gone down the ramp with my son 50 times during the week and when my son finally was able to do it on his own, Shane celebrated with him. I can’t think of a better way for kids to spend their summer than by actively enjoying the outdoors, spending time around other skaters and away from electronic devices. We will definitely be signing up for more...
Read morebeautiful park -- but uptight scene. paid 45 for for my husband and kids to skate (bc park is only free for lake forest residents) while we visit southern cali, and they would not let me in. rule is no spectators in park.
