Bad Miguel's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

I have been a aficianado of Chili Verde for 30 years or more. When I was told the best Chili Verde in Lake Havasu was at Bad Miguels of course I needed to try! Huge disappointment. It wasn't "bad" tasting, but certainly wasn't great. The bigger problem was the appearance... It literally looked like baby poo. Kind of a bright green, unappealing color. The ground beef taco I ended up getting was even worse; while the shell and fillings were excellent, the meat was hard and flavorless, like it was several days old and had dried out. The cheese enchiladas were excellent, hence 3 stars instead of 1. The best Chili Verde in Lake Havasu seems to be in Parker at Mayas. The best Chili Verde I've found anywhere from East coast to West coast and Canada to Peru is at La Frontera in Salt Lake City. We (3 of us) decided to give place a try after reading the reviews, we went there on 12-03-16 at 4:30, we were greeted promptly and was told we could sit anywhere we like, there were only 4-5 tables filled, we chose our table, chips, salsa and bean dip was served just seconds after sitting down, drink order were taken, about 2-3 minutes later our food order was taken, I ordered the pork chimichanga, the other two ordered that evening special chicken enchiladas, the food arrived within 10 minutes. the food was excellent and the service was very good. Service was horrible. Got to the restaurant and didn't even get acknowledged. We stood there for like 10 minutes, multiple times different waitresses passed right in front of us and nothing. There was multiple empty tables but all of them dirty. It seemed like they were understaffed. Finally got a table and then It took them like 15 minutes to ask for drinks. We assumed it was better to order our food at the same time so we did. We ended up waiting a little over half hour to get our food.
