BJ's Cabana Bar & Karaoke — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

Extremely sad after tonight. I normally come here and have a good time but after tonight I will never come back.

I came for the UFC fights and they were great. Thanks for having me! They were so good in fact I thought I would stay, dance a little and do karaoke. So that's what I did. I am a very animated performer, when I do karaoke I like to clinch the mic stand. It helps with my anxiety when I perform. A very common thing for anybody to do while singing in front of people. Unfortunately, not even 30 seconds into my set (that I was rocking out, by the way) I was stopped because I was performing like James Brown up there. Killing the game, I was on my good foot.. I was moving around with the mic stand and trying to get people excited (consumer psychology, the more elevated the mood, the more money that's spent). I love that! Instead I was ordered like a poorly behaved dog to "stop that", and "that's a new mic stand and I don't want it broke". It was extremely rude when it didn't have to be. She could have waited until I was done singing but instead I was interrupted. If I would have broken that mic stand I would have bought a new one. I love karaoke! And I'm extremely appreciative of bj's for letting me perform karaoke. So I wouldn't have a problem with donating a mic stand, a brand new one! Instead you will never see me again. There's something called "the price of doing business". A good ethic for any business to hold.

This atmosphere/seating seperate bars/outside area etc. is how Id want my bar in heaven... HOWEVER... BEWARE** I had a feeling our drinks were drugged, after my girl got her first crime/DUI upon leaving the bar... I felt so fucked up i was spinning (NEVER HAPPENS TO ME + I HAD ONEEEEEE DRINKKKK!).

We both threw up, she got a DUI.. also IM ON PAROLE/PROBATION & (IM ALLOWED TO DRINK ALCOHOL... BUT NOT DRUGS.) The following drug test MY PO made me take failed for fentanyl!!!! I had to hire lawyers/Request blood testing & nearly got locked up for truly doing nothing wrong... I had my suspicions... BUT if it weren't for the 6 prior reciews to mine stating the same kinda experience im saying I wouldn't even consider this... BUT!! their reviews about only drinking a bit and being blasted were ALLLLL TO FAMILIAR... I GOTTA SAY SOMETHING.. ASIDE FROM THAT.. I'll admit this bars atmosphere/seating + outside & DJ area is everything you'd want out of a bar. Maybe just if your a chic.. make sure a female bartender is serving you, cause in our case a male served my girl those drinks that changed our lives...

Pros: They had a DJ out on the patio area that played Hip-Hop type music, party lights and fire pits to stay warm. Enjoyed myself out on the patio area. The inside area had a live band and allowed people to come up for karaoke. This was on a Friday night that I went. They also had a couple of pool tables on the inside.

Cons: The bathrooms are only for one person at a time, so if it's a busy night, you'll be waiting in line for a while. I was charged $2 extra per drink for the same drink compared to what the inside bar charged me. It was a Remy Martin with Coke. Very upset with that whole situation. The lady that charged me more had an attitude with me saying it must have been a mistake and still charged me the $9 instead of the $7 I was charged inside.
