Dalli's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Lake Mary

I normally have no issues here. But today was sad. The girl who took our order had a thick accent and I could barely understand and she didn't understand me either. So that's why my order was wrong. Plus I wanted to use an offer on their website that stated 20% off for two 18 in. Extra charge for items and specialty. But was told on phone it's only for cheese. In the restaurant behind the counter the offers are listed too, and even the homemade sign in store only said 20% off on 2 18'. Zero restrictions listed. We even ordered the same thing 3 weeks ago and got the 20% off. So I mentioned in the restaurant that the ad was misleading and another waitress who spoke clear English said, that's not what the coupon said, that she made the coupon herself. She even looked it up in front of me. Yet that is clearly what the coupon stated. So, she proceeded to tell me Door dash changes the coupons on their website....(I don't know how DD would have access to their website to be able to change it)...so I was like ok! Paid for my pizza and cheese garlic knots only to get home and have regular garlic knots. I will still order here but I just couldn't believe this experience. Cheese is a bit inconsistent, sometimes it's perfect sometimes it's lacking. I wouldnt drive two hours like I saw some other reviews said they did, but if your local I would still give the pizza a try... Check your order before you leave the restaurant...and check the coupons when...

I honestly wanted to like this place. We just relocated from ny and thought we had found a place that would give us a taste of nyc.. upon entering the establishment no one greeted us just told us to take a seat at one of the small tables. Our server was totally rude and very snappy with me.. my sons sprite tasted like nothing but seltzer water and when I told her she grabbed the cup and just stared me down and walked away. Didn't bring my son a new drink till about 10mins later when I asked if my son could get another drink her response " I'm getting to it". We got our appetizers and they were delicious, hence the 1 star, but all that was over shadowed by her attitude and them "forgetting" to put in our order for the pizza. We sat for 45mins waiting until I asked the server, which gave me an attitude AGAIN and said she was going to check. My husband over heard them say they "forgot". We got up paid for what we ate and told them to forget about it. They were unapologetic and didn't really seem to care. Their costumer service is horrible. But we're good costumers so we still left a tip because that's just the people we are. They seemed to be really nice to the other costumers that weren't Hispanic if you know what I mean. I'd never return here and I sure hope no one else goes here, especially if your Hispanic or 2 shades...

The food is excellent but the online ordering system is TERRIBLE and the wait times are horrendous. Two weeks ago I ordered a stromboli and the online description says "Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and mozzarella cheese wrapped in pizza dough" but all those things are available in the options, so I only checked the ones I actually wanted. It came with all the things in the description, even the ones I didn't check. OK, whatever. So this week I ordered a Dalli's Special Pizza which has "Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions" as the description. I only checked the extra topping I wanted (black olives) and none of the others, expecting them to include what was in the description like last time. I got a 14" cheese pizza with nothing but black olives. And the wait time for this order (olive pizza + chicken parm) was an hour, no exaggeration. I love the food at Dalli's when they get the order right, and it's usually worth the wait but today was SUCH a disappointment -- just call in your order, don't use their confusing mess of an online order system. At the very least they should make it clear whether or not you need to include the toppings you want or exclude the ones you don't. What a waste of time and...
