Not the food I expected. I went to this restaurant based on the reviews but I guess everybody has a different experience and mine wasn’t what I expected. First let me start by saying that plates have very small portions for the price. I ordered Katopita Classic and literally my plate only had the one piece of Greek pastry and two baked lemon potatoes full of salt and very acidic soury lemon taste that even now I still have that unpleasant taste in my mouth, definitely not worth that price. I think the salt should be separate on the table because not a lot of people like food with extra salt and is very unhealthy. My kids ordered the gyro plate and same thing with the gyro meat, very very salty and dry. My mother ordered the Grouper Island Style fish plate but the fish was not grilled well, tasted more like boiled fish covered with some type of sauce. I wouldn’t mind paying $20 for a piece of fish but I would expect high quality delicious plate and not just a piece of fish served with only two slices of baked potatoes so we ended up ordered two other site dishes because you can’t eat just fish without any thing else. To make my experience worse at the end the waitress brought us the receipt and to my surprise I see the 20% tip highlighted and added to the total. I have been on better restaurants with my family before and never had to highlight my tip percentage regardless of having a party of 6 or more. The tip % should be based on my experience which includes the taste of food, the atmosphere and the service I receive as a customer but I was not happy with either so why should I be required to pay almost $40 tips. Don’t get me wrong, I do not have a problem at all leaving tips but it should be left up to the customers to decide not the owner. Additionally the waitres was very loud and overyly assertive and bumptious which made the atmosfere unpleasant because evern when another party come in we could hear her very loud and bothersom conversation. I really wanted to take my family out and enjoy some Mediterranean Greek food but not the experience we all hoped for and so I will never go back to this place. I would have been happier ordering gyro from a fast food restaurant than this Krazy Greek kitchen. Not sure why this place is so overated but I will defenitly not...

As a longtime patron of Krazy Greek Kitchen, my recent visit left me utterly disappointed and disillusioned with the establishment. Despite six years of loyalty, my experience was marred by abysmal service, highlighted by the shocking behavior of Kimberly, who unfortunately shared a name with my fiancée.
From the moment I stepped in, Kimberly's demeanor was nothing short of vulgar and disgusting, tarnishing what used to be a favored haunt. Despite my history with the restaurant, including a stint as a dishwasher eight years ago, being aware of previous issues with roaches, I had continued to recommend the place to others, only to be met with disdain from the new owners.
The incompetence extended beyond Kimberly to the "head chef in charge," who callously dismissed my simple request for an egg on my dish, citing busyness as an excuse. This, despite the fact that I had witnessed the same modification numerous times in the past. The chef's blatant disregard for customer satisfaction was evident as he made it clear that accommodating my request would be a rarity moving forward.
Furthermore, the lack of attention to detail was staggering, as evidenced by the oversight of not inquiring about my preference for fries with the Euro — tzatziki dish. This neglect, compounded by Kimberly's attitude, resulted in an unnecessarily prolonged wait for a simple order addition.
To add insult to injury, when I attempted to voice my dissatisfaction to the staff, I was met with ridicule and mockery. This unprofessional behavior only served to deepen my disillusionment with an establishment I once held in high regard.
In conclusion, my experience at Krazy Greek Kitchen was a far cry from the pleasant memories I had accumulated over the years. The combination of subpar service, unhygienic conditions, and an indifferent attitude from the staff has ensured that I will never return, nor recommend it to anyone else. It's truly disheartening to witness the decline of a once-beloved...
Read moreNot sure why there are so many 5 star reviews. Food is mediocre at best. I suspect most of the 5 star reviews are from people who have never really had good Greek food maybe?
We started with the Krazy Combo appetizer for like $13.25 and there was not much there. There were two tiny dolmades. 2 little bites of spanakopita, a little taziki sauce. some humis and maybe a 1/4 of a pita bread cut in little pieces. I should have got a picture it was ridicules.
The dolmades were so-so tasting and small. I actually had a lot better and bigger around the corner at a fast food Greek place that put this place to shame. You would think for the price of the appetizer you would have something thereto wet your appetite but there was virtually nothing there.
We waited for over an hour after the appetizer before we received our food. My wife had the moussaka. It was the worse moussaka we have ever eaten. I tried hers it was just a blob in the middle of the plate. No discernible layers.
My son got the Lamb Souvlakia and he said it was okay but nothing spectacular.
I got the Gyro Plate. I would have expected to get it fresh cut but it was dry on all sides and thick cuts. I am sure that it just sits in a pan back there. It is also so much better at the fast food Greek place up the street where they do cut it fresh.
Nothing comes with a Greek salad.
My wife actually had said lets go to the Greek Fast food place around the corner and I was like I want some really good Greek food so my wife said there is a place just right up the street so that's how we ended up there.
I was hoping to get some better food but I would end up paying more for less.
Very disappointing that wanting to go to a good restaurant for mothers day ended up in this place.
Should have had the Greek fast food up the street I would have had a better meal.
Still wondering why they have so many good reviews maybe paying a ...
