2-15-25 I had a wonderful time with everybody celebrating the Super Bowl. Today, I had lunch and Zoe took great care of me.

October 11, 2024 it just keeps getting better and better at Friendly Confines! They now offer a 15% military discount. I'll stand at attention, but I don't think my uniform still fits.

June 1, 2020 Throughout These tough times, Carmen and his team have provided outstanding takeout service.

Now that we can dine in the restaurant, we have been there many times.

The new brunch menu on Sundays is going to knock your "Soxs" off. Unbelievable and delicious food choices are available.

You have to try the Bears Burrito. It's really special.

Unexpectedly, their menu includes the best shrimp and grits. We taken some orders to all of our friends and they all love it.

What a great place, it's just like the taverns back in Chicago where I grew up. GO CUBS!!!

Last night I had dinner there. It was really neat. A huge baseball team, the Yankees from Miami Little League team, and their parents were there. They were really having a great time and it was fun to watch them.

Jesse took great care of me. I had the blackened Mahi which was fantastic. It was hard to pass up the Chicago style hot dogs, which are always wonderful and my go to a lot...

Food was good but so many other things were NOT! We were here for a baseball tournament so they probably didnt care as much since we were "just passing through". We are from GA and that is where we show "southern hospitality" and i guess it didnt come this far down to Friendly Confines! We ordered our food and everybody got theirs except for my 2 boys who only ordered hamburgers. As i am trying to eat, the waitress comes and has our entire table check their bills because she blamed the kitchen, that the bills may be mixed up. So after i check my bill, which was wrong i realize my kids dont even have their food 45 mins later!! I had to go to the kitchen to find her and ask where my boys food was. Finally it came out. As we go to the restroom, it states "kids eat free on Sunday with 2 adult entrees", well i got 4 adult entrees and u guessed it, another excuse. Oh you have to order 2 adult entrees and 2 drinks. So my 4 adult entrees were not enough!! So as our entire party is leaving and the waitress is no where to be found, we still have not received the bill that she interrupted my meal for. So then as we are watching our party leave we are still sitting there and the waitress comes and says you didnt pay your bill, here it is. We paid and i kindly told her how bad it was that no one came to apologize for the late food and that they wouldnt even comp the kids meal which should have been free, it was Sunday!!! All we heard were excuses from the waitress and that the manager didnt like complaints or comping food for free!!! Won't be back!!! Not...

Friendly Confines is a basic sports pub/restaurant that has a bar, lots of high tops and lots of TVs. The atmosphere is very casual and they do ask that you keep your language "clean" since kids do frequent this establishment.

Their Thursday specials were interesting however they were only good if you ordered drinks.

Service was a little slow. It was mildly busy, still plenty of open tables and you can pick where you want to sit. It took 40 min from the time we entered to get our food.

We ordered the Turkey bacon sandwich and chicken wrap. They both come with one side. The food did take a while. The portions were good. Both sandwiches were tasty. The fries with the turkey sandwich were just warm and a bit limp. The fries for the wrap were hot and firm. These are supposed to be "seasoned" fries. Not sure if any seasoning was used. My guess is one basket was ready well before the other and we had to wait for fresh fries for the other basket. Sheriff Dave of the Fry Police is issuing a warning.

This was trivia night. The guys up front were playing with the Volume of the speakers a bit much. You'd think they would know by now the appropriate volume levels and have it marked. Once that "playtime" was over the general volume of the restaurant was fine and the trivia contest was not overwhelming.

Cost of food was a little high but the quantity was good. Wings looked very expensive. Their PoS system does suggest tip amounts and they do calculate them correctly on the subtotal before tax,...
