Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Lake Orion

Highly disappointed. Ordered a pizza for delivery and it came to us completely crumpled. On top of being smooshed (I wish I could add a picture from my phone, it really was horribly smashed! Everyone I show the picture to thinks it’s a joke.) it was also just horrible tasting. The center was pure grease, the sauce was flavorless, and the ham tasted off... called to tell them I was not satisfied and got a confused sounding person who offered a new pizza or a credit for our next visit. Would not give me a refund just kept offering more pizza. We accepted the credit and ordered the next day because we had no other option than the credit and just wanted to be done with the place and prayed it would be better. It wasn’t. First of all the guy on the phone seemed so confused about me using our credit because I tacked on a Howie cookie for fun. He was also confused about me asking for a dipping sauce on the side. It’s like everyone here is in a constant state of confusion or is napping in the back. I was told about an hour wait. At this point I was kinda excited to see what kind of food we would receive, I wasn’t expecting anything good but it couldn’t be worse than the previous time right? An hour and forty five minutes pass with no pizza. I call and he said the driver had been out for half an hour and wasn’t sure why she hadn’t gotten to us yet but offered no apology. At the two hour mark we get our pizza. Driver rolls out of her car reeking of weed and hands us a cold pizza of the wrong size and an over cooked cookie. Needless to say I will spring for Jets next time because Hungry Howies has left a literal bad taste...

1st off I'm a over the road truck driver....I called to place a delivery order tonight and was told I was out of the delivery zone... even tho I place an order from this location 2 weeks ago...I asked to speak with the manager her name was beth...she informed me that a new manager took my order 2 weeks ago and this was not the location I should be calling for a delivery order....I politely asked her which store should I call...she informed me mememora location would delivery to me.....I called the mememora location placed my order got all the way to the end and time to give my cc number anf the manager informs me he can't take my order...I asked why and he said I was on a do not delivery and infact he should have answered my call....I live in the south and I have experienced racism but this takes the cake.....I advise ppl of color to stay away from establishment like this ....I was kind respectful and never raised my voice....all this because I called the so called wrong location shame on u hungry howies and u...

Long time customer... Never disappointed in the food or service here at the Hungry Howies in downtown Lake Orion... For walk-in orders the pizza is always prepared quickly and ready to-go within about 10 minute (& when they are really busy never any longer than 15 minutes) In my opinion Hungry Howies has the best crust selection and variety... The toppings are plentiful fresh & delicious... The sauce is also very tasty... Everything is very competitively priced... On most days the owner is behind the counter working just as hard as everyone else... You can tell he cares about his business... Always a great experience here at...
