6/13/22 Update:
Tried the Pink Flamingo for lunch today. It was delicious, although it took forever to get my order because it was lunch time so there were several people ahead of me in line (which I pretty much expected would be the case). Plus the two girls at the front stood there and debated with the guy working the register for nearly 10 mins on which drink they each wanted.
I mean, seriously? If you haven’t made up your mind by the time you make it all the way up to the counter and there is a long line behind you, kindly step to the side and let some other people go ahead and place their orders until you’ve finally made your decision so that the line keeps moving and doesn’t bottleneck due to your indecisiveness. Fortunately I wasn’t in a huge rush, but the other people in line looked like they were, and it was seriously all I could do not to speak up and say something to both of them. But maybe that’s just the Southern sassiness in me coming out ;)
Anyways, overall I’d still rank it a 4-star experience (inconsiderate/oblivious counter hogs aside), and I will likely be back again at some point in the future… Just maybe not at lunch time. — Original review:
I have been here twice now to grab a smoothie for a quick lunch, and both drinks were equally delicious. It’s definitely not on the cheap side, but I think that’s to be expected for anything fresh. I’d love to come in and try one of their Açaí bowls one day soon.
The staff is always pleasant to interact with, and the wait isn’t ever too long. But be prepared to be overwhelmed by the plethora of add-ins that you can use to power-up your smoothie (for an extra fee, of course). Do you want protein, bee pollen, spirulina, collagen? Uhhhh…. I guess I’ll have some Protein? Alright, will that be whey or pea? Wait, what? I just wanted a simple smoothie. Just give me my banana and mango. That’s all I want. Way too many decisions on not enough sleep. Maybe next time I should have some more coffee before I come here.
Overall, great place for a quick refuel, just know what you want before you head in or your head’s...

There exists, within this unassuming establishment, a level of smoothie bowl sorcery so profound, it borders on the metaphysical. These are not mere açaí bowls — they are artisanal vessels of antioxidant-laden transcendence.
The base is a veritable triumph of consistency: not too frozen, not too liquid — a glacially chilled, velvety amalgam of berry-rich perfection that whispers sweet nothings to your microbiome. The flavor? An elegant tango between earthy undertones and subtle fruit-forward vivacity. If Plato had conceptualized an açaí bowl in his Theory of Forms, this would be the blueprint.
Now let’s talk toppings. The granola? Texturally assertive. It maintains its structural integrity like a granola version of the Roman Colosseum — crispy, majestic, and a little bit dangerous if you get too enthusiastic. The fruit arrangement appears to have been executed by a perfectionist fruit ninja with a background in minimalism and fine art. Even the banana slices are symmetrical, which frankly feels like a love letter to geometry.
Optional enhancements like nut butters, bee pollen, or chia seeds are not just extras — they’re gastronomic accessories. Like earrings for your tastebuds. Functional and fabulous.
But what truly elevates this establishment is the team. These folks don’t just make bowls — they curate experiences. Their knowledge is encyclopedic, their enthusiasm contagious, and their energy? Imagine if a golden retriever had a PhD in superfoods.
In conclusion: if you’re seeking a moment of joy, nourishment, and spiritual realignment (with a touch of Instagrammable symmetry), this is the place. I am both humbled and slightly intimidated by the sheer excellence radiating from...
Read moreJuicy juice and more juices. I have never been one to enjoy pressed veggies and fruits. Perhaps it’s the green nightmares of childhood when mom made frozen peas constantly that has me a bit hesitant. Or the flavor…either I suppose.
Here is what makes Nekter so amazing for me. The options are incredible. If you don’t want to be ultra healthy, try the cold brew smoothie. Or my favorite, Mango delight. If juice is what you prefer, they offer a ton of detox options plus nutrient rich drinks that are really delicious. The Recovery with beets is hands down a go to. Or, if hungry, the Açaí bowls are incredible delicious. I would have never known, but my wife and I wanted to do a juice cleanse detox, and found the Classic 3 day to me was not only achievable, but super filling and tasty.
The health benefits, the tasty options, clean store and helpful staff…and most of all, the fresh and clean ingredients to make...
