Ovation Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Lake Oswego

I came here for a quick breakfast before my long drive back to Seattle. They not only cured my hanger but also kept me going for the rest of my day ❤️

We ordered vanilla latte, pistachio latte, mint tea, blueberry scone and veggie biscuit. Coffee was obviously good; flavours are subtle and not overly done and coffee was also not too strong. Scone was perfectly made, not too sweet; veggie biscuit was soooooo good, highly recommend it.

I really like their coffee and other locations are better but 2 things. Service was poor - and that no dogs thing, that's actually a law. Person came in carrying a wet dog, wiped it all over the counter while the employee lost her mind going nuts loving what I can only assume was the first dog she'd ever seen. 2nd. This place desperately needs sound absorbing materials on the walls. It's a cement box echo chambers and loud with just a few people in it, which causes a chain reaction as people scream to be heard. It is impossible to have a calm conversation with the friends...

It was my first time at Ovation and the barista was super friendly, helpful and patient. She explained the Moroccan style to me and helped me decide on a drink. It’s a different take on coffee/espresso drinks. I had a Moroccan cappuccino and it had spices (similar to chai) mixed in and infused. There were no syrups used in the flavoring. While it wouldn’t be my latte of choice it was a nice change and a good mix of chai tea and latte. It was kind of like the best of both.
