Yum! I enjoy going to any Buscuit's Cafe but I most enjoy the location of this restaurant. Biscuit's Cafe is a full menu breakfast/ lunch eatery. This location is open until 230pm on any given day. If there's a bit of a line don't expect to wait too long, their hostesses/ managers are swift and effective. Always acting with a professional, heads-up sense of urgency while wearing a smile on their faces. Their menu is easy to understand and their affordable pricing doesn't require a lot of add on selections to complete one's meal. One can select from a number of specials. One unique fun choice, at the time of posting, is a Chicken and Waffles Benedict that really gives you the best of two delicious meals. In regards to breakfast selections you can order a full range of items from pancakes to kielbasa. Or a cinnamon roll turned into French toast. And their chicken fried steak is actually beefy steak! You don't have to get stuck with hashbrowns as you can choose red potatoes at no additional cost and choices of accompanying bread is led by their namesake biscuits. Everytime I've eaten their biscuits they've been warm, moist and easy to pull apart making them easy to lather in their house berry spread. I highly recommend them. Plates run between $10-15. Their coffee is always pouring so be ready to stay topped off. A fun drink choice is this half/half coffee and hot chocolate that is sure to perk you up first thing in the morning. There's plenty of parking and the establishment is easy to find. The one opportunity of this restaurant, that I see, is sitting anywhere near their open kitchen... the smokiness can diffuse into the eating areas causing smoky smells or some minor eye irritation. Not a big issue, but be aware of your seat placement. Have fun! And enjoy your...
Read moreWe get Biscuits breakfast about once a month and it is always pretty good. definitely better tasting and fresher than dennys or sherries. i really like the corned beef hash breakfast- the corned beef/ shredded brisket is juicy and flavorful, comes with two biscuits and jam (or toast or pancakes), two eggs, and potatoes. sometimes the biscuits are hard but that is my only complaint (assuming their biscuits are their namesake, I would expect better, hence losing a whole star for sub-par biscuits; Ironically, the competition diner, black bear diner, has wonderful biscuits). We live equal distance from both king city and lake oswego locations, but i will say lake oswego has been much more reliable.
Update: Knocked off another star. Hubs and I ordered take-out this morning, and when he got back with our food lo and behold it was the wrong order entirely. So Hubs drives back, and they have our actual order waiting for us. Good? Nope. I wanted freshly cooked food because now we're eating food almost an hour old. Plus no syrup for my pancakes (exploded all over the bag) or biscuits with his omelette.
The Lake Oswego location is by far the most reliable location I have been to, but even they mess up enough that I can't really justify the take-out gamble anymore. This is likely the last...
Read moreThis location does not allow delivery drivers to use the restroom. I thought we were business partners ? They only allow people who are eating outside to use the bathroom. Why are we not allowed to use the bathroom if we're delivery driver's ? Are we sub human ? Every other location let's you use the bathroom but not this one. Why are they so special ? Is it because it's lake oswego ? Well if that's true then that says a lot about lake oswego. Look I understand there is a virus going around but we just want to use the restroom like normal human beings. We're not asking to use the kitchen. My god it's a bathroom for God sakes a place where we can relieve ourselves and clean ourselves up and wash off the bacteria and germs off with hot water and soap. But according to their policy we can't. What kind of policy is this . Well we will not accept this we will be protesting this policy soon and I hope you will join us. I will let you know the time and date of our protest. Delivery drivers are human too and we deserve dignity...
