I recently visited Papa Murphy's after the 4th of July and had a truly wonderful experience. Despite the busyness of the holiday, there was only one lady working at the time, and her kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on me.

From the moment I walked into the store, the lady greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. She was clearly handling multiple tasks single-handedly, yet she managed to remain calm and composed throughout.

What stood out the most was the level of attentiveness she displayed. Despite the workload, she took the time to listen to my order patiently and made sure she understood my preferences. She offered helpful recommendations and answered all my questions with a genuine willingness to assist.

As my pizza was being prepared, I observed how efficiently she managed the entire process. Her attention to detail was evident, ensuring that each ingredient was carefully selected and placed on the pizza. It was clear that she took pride in her work, and that translated into the final product.

The service is fairly slow and lacking priorities, and the decor is what is to be expected from a pizza parlor, so not someplace you want to spend any lengthy amount of time (especially with the bunt cheese smell lingering in the air). But what surprises me is the fact that they put so much effort into advertising there "fresh ingredients" and "homebaked taste" while there pizza really doesn't taste fresh at all, and it certainly does not taste like anything from my oven at home! The worst part is the cheese that tastes like something from my pile of used socks and the way that every potentially tasty topping is encased within the nasty cheese layer. have always received great service; once forgot to specify thin crust, but they whipped it up before my wife arrived for pick-up. Didn't charge for the regular crust version, just kept it in case someone later ordered one. The wide variety of pizza toppings and combos are all delicious, so the only problem with Papa's is making up your mind which one to order; and on Tuesday the price is low enough, why not get 2! I've lived in Oregon 50 years and it's the best I've found (except for the wood fired oven of The Bread Board in Falls City); have visited over 50 pizza parlors rated highly thru-out Oregon. Papa's always gets 5 stars from my family...
