Nature's Way Cafe - Lake Park — Restaurant in Lake Park

Since discovering Nature’s Way in Jupiter and LOVING it I keep an eye out for them anytime I am working. So I was pleasantly surprised when I passed this little café on US One in North Palm Beach. I ordered the Lunch Box Special which is a ½ sandwich plus a side of fresh fruit plus frozen yogurt. For my sandwich I had the Veggie Melt which was lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, sprouts, cabbage, onions and melted cheese. I tried the Gluten Free bread and was PLEASANTLY surprised at how good it was. The texture is perfect. The sandwich was delicious and really big for ½ a sandwich. The fruit was super fresh and also a big portion. But the thing I loved the most was the frozen yogurt. It tastes like it is made from real vanilla beans. Just DELICIOUS!! I had a cup of ice water and the total was $7.95. It is serves in a container that is easy to take out so if you are headed somewhere else – it is a great choice. The manager was there and she told me how she prepared, cooked and baked daily. Mixed experience at Nature Way Cafe - Lake Park

I've always enjoyed the pleasant, old-school atmosphere of Nature Way Cafes in Palm Beach County. The Lake Park location, however, seems to fall short.

While the food and location are great (perfect before the beach!), I've encountered several instances where the owner's behavior significantly impacted my experience. While the staff are friendly, the owner's loudness, constant cleaning around diners aggressively, and occasional abruptness towards customers create an uncomfortable atmosphere. Witnessing him interact with other patrons changes the whole low-key atmosphere. I have seen him tell people what to do.

Despite these issues, I believe the cafe has great potential. If the owner could adopt a calmer, more customer-friendly approach, it would bring back the beach vibe and improve the dining experience. The staff are incredible. Additionally, offering more non-dairy options would be a welcome addition.

8 months ago the Samsung wireless pay didn't work on my active 2 device. They let me take the mexi melt wrap and come back the next day to pay. The second time I got the mexi melt wrap I opened it up at work and it only had cheese and chicken on it. Today I went in with abbrand new samsung watch galaxy 3 and tried Samsung NFC payment and 8 months later it still doesn't work. Half the time when you call the lines are busy. Not worth the headache. Once again I was offered to take the wrap. I don't want to come back tomorrow. I don't often pay 11 dollars for a 6 or 7 ounce chicken wrap. For me it's a once in a while treat. I only gave it 2 stars because there used to be a super happy qoman that worked here. She was like the most bubbles positive woman you want working in a food place like this. It's nice. I'm done coming here. I didn't come here a lot...
