I have no idea how to even BEGIN to explain what just happened. I ordered Uber eats. A bunch of sushi. I bit into a ROCK. A LITERAL ROCK. LIKE ONE OF THOSE PEBBLES FROM A FISH TANK.
Firstly, it hurt. Badly. Secondly a ROCK!!!
I call the restaurant to warn them what just happened (mind you my 3 year old daughter was eating with us. God forbid it was her). She didnât understand what I was saying and thought I said ârawâ and was arguing that the sushi is raw. I spelled it out and explained I was saying ROCK. She didnât care and said âcall Uber eats and get your refundâ. I ask for a manager âIâm a manager. I am IN AWE that she could care less that a ROCK was in my food. I tell her again, do you not want to tell your chef âwell idk what happenedâ. Then proceeds to speak in her language to someone. Says again âgo call Uber eatsâ
Dude this is insane. Go elsewhere because this place is NOT IT.
I could care less about the money. Itâs a SAFETY AND SANITY PROBLEM!!!

Read moreNinja Sushi is a little hole in the wall sushi place on Northlake just east of 10th. I counted five tables and no sushi bar, so they definitely must make most of their business on take out. The building is older but they keep the restaurant immaculately clean.
I had the Sushi and Sashimi platter and my wife had the teriyaki chicken. I gave the food high marks on both presentation and price, although the fried rice had corn in it which seemed a bit odd.
The bill came to $36 for drinks and dinner, which is closer to half of what weâre used to paying at Saito's. Iâd rank the food just almost as good and the service superior.
My only ding on the restaurant itself is almost a complete lack of ambiance. The absence of any kind of music or background meant the exhaust fans seemed strangely loud.
Overall I like Ninja Sushi and if they added a sushi bar and dropped the corn from the fried rice it would definitely be a regular...
Read moreI wanted to take a moment to share some feedback from my 1st visit recently. I was really excited to try the sushi, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling a bit disappointed. I ordered a selection of rolls, including the Spider Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Ninja Roll, Shrimp and Veg Tempura, and Edamame. While I expected basic rolls to be delicious and satisfying, I found that the quality didnât meet my expectations. The sushi was mediocre, and despite spending close to $50, I didnât even finish half of the meal. I was still hungry afterward and ended up making something else to eat.
I understand that sometimes things can be off on any given day, but I wanted to share this in case itâs something the company can look into. I appreciate the effort that goes into preparing meals, but sadly, I donât think I would return after...
