I have no idea how to even BEGIN to explain what just happened. I ordered Uber eats. A bunch of sushi. I bit into a ROCK. A LITERAL ROCK. LIKE ONE OF THOSE PEBBLES FROM A FISH TANK. Firstly, it hurt. Badly. Secondly a ROCK!!! I call the restaurant to warn them what just happened (mind you my 3 year old daughter was eating with us. God forbid it was her). She didn’t understand what I was saying and thought I said “raw” and was arguing that the sushi is raw. I spelled it out and explained I was saying ROCK. She didn’t care and said “call Uber eats and get your refund”. I ask for a manager “I’m a manager. I am IN AWE that she could care less that a ROCK was in my food. I tell her again, do you not want to tell your chef “well idk what happened”. Then proceeds to speak in her language to someone. Says again “go call Uber eats” Dude this is insane. Go elsewhere because this place is NOT IT. I could care less about the money. It’s a SAFETY AND SANITY PROBLEM!!! How does a rock get there?!

***UPDATE*** | 4 Years later This place is still here, still in business, and still pumping out quality sushi at an affordable price. Got the 3 roll lunch special again (10.50 now) and a handroll and was completely satisfied. I'll definitely be back soon. The dinning area is closed. Take out and delivery are your only options currently. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** What a great little restaurant! This sort of place is exactly what you want when you want fast, cheap, and good-tasting sushi. I ordered 3 rolls for $9.50. It came with soup or salad. I got the salad, it was over-dressed but that's fine. Sushi was great and for the price cannot be beat. I will be back the next time I'm in the area and am hungry for sushi.

This was my first time having the food here which was recommended to me by a friend. I will be a repeat customer and if I could give a 5 star review each time, I would. Got sushi, gyoza, and hibachi. Specifically: Chicken Hibachi with miso soup Shrimp Hibachi with house salad Steak and Shrimp Hibachi with miso soup Dragon Roll Sweetheart Roll King of Dragon Fried Gyoza Great taste, portions, atmosphere. It's not a place for dining in so keep that in mind, only delivery or pickup. There are vegetarian options and the menu has many items to choose from depending on your mood. Besides that, the price is unbeatable for the quality of food. Next time, I'll be sure to attach pictures of the hibachi dinner.

Ninja Sushi is a little hole in the wall sushi place on Northlake just east of 10th. I counted five tables and no sushi bar, so they definitely must make most of their business on take out. The building is older but they keep the restaurant immaculately clean.

I had the Sushi and Sashimi platter and my wife had the teriyaki chicken. I gave the food high marks on both presentation and price, although the fried rice had corn in it which seemed a bit odd.

The bill came to $36 for drinks and dinner, which is closer to half of what we’re used to paying at Saito's. I’d rank the food just almost as good and the service superior.

My only ding on the restaurant itself is almost a complete lack of ambiance. The absence of any kind of music or background meant the exhaust fans seemed strangely loud.

Overall I like Ninja Sushi and if they added a sushi bar and dropped the corn from the fried rice it would definitely be a regular...

I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback from my 1st visit recently. I was really excited to try the sushi, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling a bit disappointed. I ordered a selection of rolls, including the Spider Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Ninja Roll, Shrimp and Veg Tempura, and Edamame. While I expected basic rolls to be delicious and satisfying, I found that the quality didn’t meet my expectations. The sushi was mediocre, and despite spending close to $50, I didn’t even finish half of the meal. I was still hungry afterward and ended up making something else to eat.

I understand that sometimes things can be off on any given day, but I wanted to share this in case it’s something the company can look into. I appreciate the effort that goes into preparing meals, but sadly, I don’t think I would return after...
