I can't help but find it funny that a place named Miami Grill specializes in Philly style cheesesteaks - A regional food icon whose home lies over 1,200 miles away.
Still, as cheesesteaks go, mine was pretty fair. I think there could have been a bit more meat and toppings, and the bread not so soft and fluffy. Speaking as someone who spent part of my life living and working in Philadelphia, I can certainly say I've had worse... Even there. As cheesesteaks go, I give it a 7. Just keep in mind that a 7 here is a 5 in Philly. 😉
Otherwise, I've also had the fish and chips and a cheeseburger here... All late at night. This is where a place like Miami Grill really excells - late night eats.
All in all, the food has always been fresh, tasty and at the right price point for what you get. The staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful so who could really ask for more!?
If you're looking for an authentic Philly steak experience, don't go here. If, however, you want to get some fresh and tasty late night eats served by some nice, friendly folks, then this is the right place!
Oh, and by the way Miami Grill, why don't you serve Cuban Sandwiches? That would make sense.
Seriously....
Read moreSo, picture this: it’s way past dinner time, and somehow, my 1998 Lexus LS 400 rolls itself right into the Miami Grill drive-through. (Smart car? No. But apparently, it has opinions about late-night cravings!) I’m a little thrown off, so I start asking questions—what’s in the platter vs. the other choices? The nice lady on the intercom handles my confusion like a pro, patiently explaining my options without a hint of judgment.
Eventually, I go for the hot wing platter with fries and...celery! Because, you know, balance. The food comes out hot—wings on fire, fries perfectly crispy (I mean deep-fried, not air-fried!), and that celery was the refreshing cooldown I never knew I needed.
Only downside, I had to scarf it down before heading home to my in-house critics. Worth every dollar, from the customer service to the food. And as for my Lexus? It’s currently on probation for pulling that little stunt. Until next time, Miami Grill—thanks for the memories and the...
Read moreThe food is always pretty good and seems fresh but the restaurant is in disrepair. From Northlake, it looks like it is closed. I usually go through the drive thru and have to pull up and wait for them to walk the food out to me 7-10 minutes later. Today, I tried to order online but online ordering was disabled so I called my order in to the restaurant so I wouldn't have to wait in the drive thru. A nice lady took my order and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant, my order was wrong so I had to wait there 15 minutes for them to fix it. As for customer service, the employees are not rude but they are not very helpful either. Every time I spoke with someone at the counter, I felt like I was bothering him/her. In summary, the food is good, the atmosphere gets a thumbs down and the customer service...
