Stef’s Pizza Lake St. Louis — Restaurant in Lake Saint Louis

The food tastes great, which is a shame because I won't be going back. My wife placed an online order. I went to pick it up and upon my return home, her order was missing. She called to let them know that I would be coming to retrieve her cheese fries. (Our order was only 3 items) upon returning to the drive thru, I was greeted and told the person that I was there to pick up the item that was missing and as I handed her the receipt, I told her my wife called and spoke with someone about my return. I was asked which item and told her it was the cheese fries. After a few minutes the lady returned to the window and stated they were making them to which I nodded. She walked away and what proceeded was shocking. Through the can prompted-open window. The young lady began to trash talk me to her coworkers. She first said that I was not a nice person then starting saying that I am mean. At this point, I pulled out of the drive thru, parked and went inside. As I came in another person working the counter approached to help me. I stated that I came inside because I am apparently mean. The lady at the counter asked for the name on the order and I started to tell her that I don't appreciate the other person talking bad about me. To which she replied, I did not ask you that, I asked for the name on the order. After giving her the name, I told her that this type of service is uncalled for, to which the lady said, well she's young. That is no excuse! A 3rd person came up to the counter and refunded my order, but at this point the damage had already been done. Please don't give this place your business. They are very rude and condescending to their patrons. This is the last time I will give this place my business. Train your employees correctly on how to handle these situations, or be prepared to lose a lot...

Past experiences with Stefs have been disappointing but tonight was just plain bad. Got to the pickup window on time, had payment taken right away, then waited 5 minutes to be told it will be 3 more minutes, pull behind the truck that just pulled behind me. I had to wait 5 minutes but the truck behind me cant wait 3? I do so, then get back up to the window, wait a few more minutes to be told they burned my pizza and need to re-make it. Not knowing this would be an ordeal, I said I had to go pick up my kids and come back. When I did 10 mins later, like clockwork, pick up line 5 cars deep...so we have to go inside in pouring rain, same girl asks me "hi can I help you" as if she had never seen me before. Brings food out promptly and to be fair, she WAS friendly. Then asks if I want red pepper...I included it in my online order, and paid extra so YES I do want what I ordered :) get back home and two of the three pizzas are cold and dont have the extra sauce we paid extra for. You screw up an order that requires a 30 min delay, keep the other pizzas warm in an oven and offer to knock some off the bill. Basic, common courtesy. Its annoying to not get extra sauce when its an option on the website, but when you charge for it...come on. Wont...

I really want to give this place a good review bc the one over on winghaven was great but this place just can’t handle the volume or they have hired people who just don’t care. I’ve ordered pickup twice and delivery twice and they all have been awful. They will tell you the pizza will be ready in 30-40 min but it always ends up being closer to 2 hours. The first time we ordered was for pickup and we ended up sitting in the parking along with a dozen other customers for for about 60 min longer than they said. We figured that was a one-off and tried again. They continued to take roughly 2 hours to make the pizza and the two times we ordered for deliver the pizza was cold and had clearly been sitting around for a while. I really wanted to like this place because it’s right across the street now. Unfortunately something happened when they move from winghaven and they can’t handle the volume or hired people who just don’t care. I’ll just order from someone else...
