I brought my family in today for a late lunch (3:00 PM). We were greeted at the door and immediately sat. When our server came over, she was clearly not happy to be there and was generally unpleasant. I realize that everyone has bad days so, I chalked it up to that. She then took our drink order, brought our drinks and took our food order. She was generally unpleasant and said very little. When she walked away she joked with the other staff that was standing nearby. This told me she was not in a bad mood and just didnt want to serve us or, work at all. She then disappeared for a very long time. We tried to yell at a passing manager and another waitress for assistance with a drink and we were ignored (they looked right us and kept walking). Our food came out and my wife wanted to request mayonnaise but our waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally, our waitress showed up by the bar joking with the staff and noticed my wife flagging her down. She brought us mayonnaise and didnt say much and seemed annoyed to have to do it.
This was the third time ive been at this location. The first time, the food was awful and our service was awful. The second time the food was cold and our service was awful. I thought that the first two times were just because the restaurant was new but now I know that they dont manage their staff well.
I've ordered the beer chees Philly, regular Philly, and a burger that has Chipotle sauce and an onion ring on top of it. The "chopped ribeye" is just frozen meat that is rubbery in texture and unseasoned. The bun that it comes on is not grilled or prepared in any way. The cheese is mostly flavorless also Ultimately, just a poor excuse for a Philly. The burger was overcooked, bun was unprepared, no veggies (menu says available upon request), onion rings on top of the burger were also just frozen and flavorless. We were charged $57 and some change for that food.
Do yourself a favor and go to Town Square Pub and Grub down the road. Much better food...
Read moreJust moved to the area & started work in the local area and was scouting for a new spot to do luncheons, etc and we were impressed by the kitchen hours at this place. You walk in and you are immediately greeted by overly bright lights and a mix of overwhelming sounds from the overhead system and the TVs, very conflicting. Found a spot at the bar - bartender didn’t even greet us, manager or sweaty rude guy finally grabbed us a few drinks and vocally passed us off to the next person, to later become their burden.. it quickly became obvious that if you aren’t a regular here, you aren’t getting much for service. But how to become a regular? Tried to spark up a convo to see what the show is about or just to move on with our now questionable dining experience. Took the gal’s recommendation and went for the $17 wings. Size does matter & that’s hardly a lb. Drinks finally arrived (after everyone else in the restaurant received what they needed, the cooler was stocked, etc.) Hell, even the girl “bragging’” about her earnings for the night had a chance to get a drink in before we got ours… anyways, went out to check out the seating outside (future plans brewing) and when we quickly returned, our drinks had been cleared. 24 mins later we were able to ask for our food to go. 12 mins later she realized we didn’t have drinks. We get our now TO GO food & We tried to pay, she couldn’t even get that task taken care of until she had a 21 min convo with the bar regulars. I don’t know what else to say besides there are plenty of places to go for slightly above par pub fare. Only perk is you get to take your drink cup home. Rightfully so after the fight you have to put up for one. Samantha BADLY needs to learn her steps of service. We were very obviously NOT welcomed there and We will most definitely not be returning. Not shocked it...
Read moreLet me start off by saying this was a very nice looking restaurant it's new and I will admit the food tasted pretty good. The fried risotto balls were interesting. I went on Wednesday August 24th at 11am right at open.
I will freely admit that we came in right at open along with a couple of other people but she spent way more time being friendlier and more banter/small talk with the group behind us which was all men. I guess she assumed they would give her a bigger tip. I will admit that she did keep our drinks full and she constantly brought our food out and offered us to go waters at the end of our meal.
I signed up for their loyalty program before I went in and they didnt ask if I was a member, they didn't ask if I wanted to sign up. I had zero ideas on how to check in to earn points or anything.
We ordered the appetizer sampler for $16 which I will freely admit was good.
The Buffalo chicken sandwich for 7.99 with subbed loaded fries 4.00
Chicken fingers for 11 with subbed loaded waffle fries 4.00
Our grand total with tax was 46.80 we tipped $10 cash
And to be honest I wasn't very impressed the portion size for the price I paid was a little ridiculous. I understand the cost of things has gone up but those chicken strip were tiny about 4 inches or smaller for the cost of those chicken strips I can go to Town Square Pub N Grub and get a pound of chicken strip.
It's a good restaurant don't get me wrong with the food was all right but I get the feeling that they're main selling point is they want you to be drunk so that way you don't understand the portion size is a bit of a rip off. Also they do charge you for extra sauce/dressing .75 cents each. There is also a $3 charge for pre existing items that are no longer...
