All N' Family Shrimp Shack — Restaurant in Lake Township

I really like the food here. It’s made to order and always nice and hot when I get it. I’m partial to the southern version of the catfish nuggets and fish strips. My biggest issue with this place is the WAIT TIME. It doesn’t matter when I go. Weekday or weekend, middle of the day or evening. My food is NEVER at the time it’s supposed to be. And it’s not like a 5-10 minute wait. It’s like 20+ minutes after my selected pickup time. First time customer. Ordered a pound of shrimp with their shack sauce. The shrimp is similar to goose island. They were decent. The sauce is also similar to that tangy orange sauce at goose island. It was good but too much mustard. It’s also strange that they charge you for cocktail sauce. If you order shrimp, shouldn’t the cocktail sauce be a given? Customer service was great! They’re in a strip mall with extremely tight parking.

So I really like this place. I tried the shrimp and it was fire. The crunchy flavorful crust was addicting. Each order comes with sauces included. My favorites were the hot tartar and the SS sauce (mustard but good). I had the Mac which had veggies and a little tanginess. It hit the spot. Finally, the southern fried fish sticks were a surprise.
