Birriería y Taquería El Arandas — Restaurant in Lake Township

Came to this local Birrieria Y Taqueria restaurant to try their famous Birrieria. As you enter you are greeted and can choose your own seating.

Service was quick and the waitress was nice!

Best part of this place is the hand made tortillas! When you walk in or drive pass you are able to see La Tortillera pressing tortillas!

The presentation and plating of the birria can be more elevated in my opinion.

Nonetheless the flavor was there! They also give you a salsera with different salsas and topping for your caldo.

Aside from the birria I had a breakfast plate of overeasy eggs, rice, and beans. The rice was hard and lacked flavor. It tasted like it was old and reheated about two times which was the only complaint I had.

Don't let bad rice discourage you from trying the restaurant...

Its a birreria,but the birrea is just grossed I asked for masisa and instead I got this meat that looks like it was already chewed the limones are old and dry.The caldo is too clear to be caldo de birria. 1st and last time trying it and the 10 minute wait to sit then the 10 waot to be noticed and the 15min or plus wait for the food wasn't even worth it. Im still hungry and mad. I mentioned it to the waitress she offered another plate of birria. I explained it to two servers and they only apologized. I asked for manager, which hes the owner. My first time at this place and I was expecting better. The place is dirty looks like floor has never been swept. I ask how a dish was prepared and Waitress said "I dont know I am new here". It was not fun seen another waitress putting the spicy sauce bottle on her nose trying to check if the sauce still good for eating. We waited for the waitress to take the order too long but when I saw her doing her make up, I realized for her obviously was more important to retouch her makeup than doing her job.
