We usually make a Chipotle run around 7:30pm once a week after we workout and grocery shop. Cooking is one less thing we have to do so we stop out of the convenience and (usually) good quality of Chipotle. The past 2 visits (two weeks in a row) have been rough. Last week our bowls seemed light, when other times the food is piled in there. It all depends on who serves you. This week our bowls were definitely light because the store was out of nearly half their supply.
They had a sign on the door and the counter that they needed exact change or card only for payment. This isn't a problem as we usually pay with card anyways. It would have been simple enough to add a note saying they were out of half of their ingredients and we simply would have walked out then.
They had plenty of each rice. No problem there and there usually never is.
Not sure about the brown beans because we never get those. The black beans had to be chased around the container multiple times and it took multiple scoops to get 1 serving worth. Even then, it seemed light.
The peppers and onions were low as they always are and we never see anymore being cooked. (We're usually always in by 7:30-8pm and the store is open till 10pm - plenty of time left to cook more food to have ready, especially if you are running low on something) This portion was lower than normal.
We've been enjoying the Carne Asada, this week it was dry.
The chunky tomato salsa was completely out (this is our favorite part of the bowl). One employee "checked the back" for more - we all know how checking the back goes.
Corn salsa was nearly out and had to be scraped off the bottom of the container to get the rest. No one even attempted to refill it or check for more.
We asked for a small container of guac and it was filled maybe halfway. When we asked to have it completely filled, one of the employees used the excuse that the person who had filled it was new. There clearly was not anyone being trained and we had seen everyone in there before. Everyone was on their own and at that point should be trained enough to know to fill the container.
All but one napkin container was out. The store is always messy and the staff typically seems annoyed that they have to deal with people.
We're done with this location until they can improve. This is the worst Chipotle location that I have eaten at. Marysville knows how to run a Chipotle restaurant. Maybe send some people over there to train and then turn them loose in the Bellefontaine location. We're taking our business elsewhere for quick convenient meals during busy nights.
Also, we routinely will order Chipotle catering (maybe once a month or every other month) as our meal prep for work. We avoid ordering it from this location at all costs. If we're out of town over a weekend and traveling back to Bellefontaine, we don't have time to meal prep Sunday so we order this and it works out great. So far, we have ordered catering from the Marysville and one of the Findlay locations (just depends where we're coming from) and we've never had any issues. We don't dare order it from our...

They sat inside the restaurant and proceeded to order online. The waited over 20 minutes. Other customers were coming in, ordering online and getting their food ahead of my daughters. Once the order was ready, the employees sat the bag on some shelf behind the counter. The girls went up and had to ask for their food. They got to the car, and opened thier bowls. One bowl only had rice, chicken and cheese. You could still see the bottom of this bowl.because it was so empty. I took the bowl inside and asked the employee to please fill it up. Tatum refused. I asked for a new bowl. Also a no. I asked for a refund. AL a no. I was told to call a 1-800 number. I called. I need a receipt to complete a refund. Guess what? No receipt was given. I have called the store 10 times and was put on hold for over an hour asking for this receipt. I was hung up on approximately 5 times. No manager on site. They had no chips. No ice. Two employees. This matter will be taken all the way to the top. And this review is only...
Read moreSo I was hoping chipotle's standards would carry over and the food would be good. But two of the three times I have went it was terrible. I am disappointed. The first time rice wasn't cooked all the way and was cold. The second time my online order was completely messed up. Then when I went back to get it fixed after complaining over the phone I waited 45 minutes for my order. I get to the pickup window finally after people in front of me were leaving angry that's the only reason I even got to the window. So I get there they hand me the bag. The food was cold yet again. I asked when it was made they swore 10 min ago. Which is strange I've been in line for 45 minutes and the manager said they were making it right away. Ok, third time I ate there inside. It took forever to get through the line Because the employees rather talk to their friends than focus on orders. I was getting even more upset with this chipotle each visit. The only thing that saved it this time was the food was ok.... Just ok... Not great. I have always like chipotle till these last three in a row experiences at the Bellefontaine Chipotle. Sorry, Bellefontaine chipotle but...
