My mother has been going to this bakery for 29 years! The old owners are nothing compared to the new ones.👎🏽Today they lost a loyal costumer. My step father called a head of time to make a special Rosca with cheese and strawberry filling, and was told that it would be ready between 5-6pm . The time came and MY stepfather had to call to ask if it was ready(mind you they never called, we had to) , and he was told that the order he placed was never made because he never paid. They never asked for a payment and they NEVER called us back to say “hey I’m looking at your ticket and I see there’s no payment, would you like to pay or cancel the order” common customer service. After my step father was told that they said that they could give him a regular Rosca and he said thank you and hung up. Lady that picked up the phone was not the one that took the order she then asked the owner in the background what she should say. As an owner you would think you would get on the phone and apologize and see what an other option there was but she didn’t even bother...
Read moreThe bread is good but 9 times out of ten the bread is very stale and pricey. Which before I didn’t care about paying more compare to other Bakeries but now it’s an issue since it’s always super stale and hard. I’ve shopped there at different times of the day hoping to catch a fresh batch of bread but failed. The Bolillo is pretty good.
The previous owners would separate the old bread from the fresh one and put them in bags for sale and also labeled them “pan frio” for a cheaper price so customers would no that they aren’t buying the fresh ones. I thought that was a pretty good idea and the bread on the racks was always delicious and FRESH

We choose to live healthy and eat healthy cakes and food even if we have to sacrifice authenticity, eating old school fat filled bread is not the option any more.
