In the past this restaurant is great. Today I ordered take out… i ordered two Pasteur tacos which came with hardly any meat.. a tostada with sour cream on the side …which was in the tostada and didn’t have any cheese, there was not one slice of lime included for this order along with a Pasteur burrito… when the young lady took my order over the phone I asked her to pls provide me with the total… she told me she couldn’t because they were changing shifts… upon picking up the order.. a woman whom appeared to be in charge inquired of one of the waitresses if sour cream was included in order; the waitress went over to cook side to ask … one of them nodded his head. I called to make them aware of this mishap …a young lady passed me onto someone named Miguel who could only apologize.. and ask me to bring in the tostada and he would replace it… we are a distance away. Clearly some knew the order was incorrect and just passed it on to the cashier. When asked if I could speak with manager/owner he said that he hardly goes there and usually only around closing time. When I asked the young lady I spoke with at first… she informed me that she, the owner had had left for the day. I will be dropping in .. in hopes of speaking with the owner… in the meantime upon ordering take out … check your order...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend drive past here on occasion and every time we always say that we gotta try it out some time. It looks like it's always poppin with people. We finally tried it out today :) we went to try their breakfast. It was slightly packed, but seating wasn't an issue. We got seated in less than a minute. There wasnt a long wait time for a waitress to come by our table once we were ready to order, so service was good :) and the wait time for our food to be ready was surprisingly short! We had our food within 5-10 of ordering. We both asked for green chilaquiles with cecina y huevos. Chilaquiles were $8, it was extra $ to ask for the eggs and steak. Each plate turned out to be $14. Visually the plate looked nice. The two eggs were placed neatly on top of the chilaquiles with the steak in the middle. Rice and beans were on the side. Everything was cooked nicely and with tons of flavor. The beans weren't plain. The rice was surprisingly light and fluffy. I was really shocked at the cecina; it was so tender :) we left feeling full and satisfied! We will definitely be going back to try from the rest...
Read moreWent there on a Saturday morning. There's nowhere to wait inside but awkwardly by the doors. Once we were seated in the western side of the dining room it was cold and drafty. People were complaining about the cold and the server said "I don't feel cold." Ehh, not the right thing to tell paying customers. Then a family decides they want to keep the party going from last night and put some rambunctious "tamborazo" songs on the jukebox. Now what I was hoping would be a nice chill breakfast turned into me and my girlfriend having to raise our voices just to hear ourselves from two feet away. The food was okay. I ordered the Desayuno Quebrada, the steak had good flavor but they over-cooked it. Some corners...
