Read this revision if you're ordering anything other than pizza or for finicky kids. Repost is after my original review "The best pizza around here and I've tried them all. Bought a Super today and was surprised by a discount, I had asked on the phone if they had any deals in the largest size and was told sorry, no just on the second from the largest. It's nice to be valued and accommodated as well as deliciously full. " I still stand by this rating however tonight was the first time i ordered anything but pizza and one item..fried mushrooms " did not taste right. Actually they were gross according to my 15 year old who loves this item usually but i wasn't going to say that, bottom line is anything not tasting right to me im not going to feed to my family so i called to let them know. I didnt ask for a refund initially i just thought they should be aware. This is my favorite pizza place and still is but the girl put me on hold and got the manager which i wasnt going to make a big deal because everything else was perfect HOWEVER the manager who said his name was Louie got on the phone after she came back on the line telling me the manager said they were fresh out of the box. At that point i said what difference does that make, the fact was about how they tasted. So now he gets on the line and not quite rude but getting there and telling me how funny to him it was that they had served several orders and nobody ELSE complained going on to say again that they were fresh out of the package..all of which is moot, mine did not taste good period. So now i was upset, he was impugning my integrity without directly calling me a liar then acting like he wasnt rude and that it was on tape and he didnt say that which was a lie, , which to me is worse. The reason i am writing this review is that after calling him out for suggesting i wasnt on the up and up and no way to treat a customer that never complained before he denied what i just heard him say directly to me. Read moreI put an order online for the 2640 W. 51st location and paid for it. I left work to pick up my order and they said they don't have an order with my name on it. I didn't receive an email or confirmation for my order. They said there's nothing they can do. I was charged on my Chase card and have to call back during the week to dispute charges because the transaction went through. I called several locations and no one had my online order. I called the location near 111th and Western Ave. The guy who was sympathetic and had concerns, went out his way to try to help me.
He then, called one of the owners. He told me to wait at the store. So, one of the owners came. He passed me and I explained to him that I put an order online and they said they don't have my order. He begins to say, it's my bank fault and I need to take it up with them. Then, I explained that the young man at the other store informed me that they tell their customers to go order on the phone or grub hub.
They been having problems with the online ordering. He said that's a choice at different locations. I said you all need to check into the website. He ended up ignoring me. I said I'm going to do a review and report you. Bad service. I should have ordered at 106th St., were I usually get my pizza. But, I I figured because it was by my dad house, I wouldn't have to travel far. I loss my money, didn't get my pizza, and they weren't considered or understanding. Read moreSo I called ordered a pizza and a couple other things for our family.. our bill was close to $50 . I get there to pay for my food, i hand the cashier my $100 bill. She asks me if I don’t have anything smaller and I told her I didn’t. So she walks to the back to ask her ignorant unprofessional manager about it. So She comes back and asks me if I dont have the newer 100$ bills, that because they couldn’t accept my bill. I go back to my car to ask my wife if she had change on her, and i told her what had happened. She called spoke to the manager and all he kept saying is we have a sign saying we can’t accept 50s or 100 bills. But I tell him over and OVER his worker said it was fine but they could only take a newer bill. At the end he finally hears what I’m saying after repeating over and over. And he finally says that they only accept new 100 bills. After telling me they don’t accept them at all. After all that it ruined our appetite. It was gonna be our first time trying their pizza too.. but i most certainly wont come back. They just have to do something about that. Say one thing and then say another.
