We found a lady bug in the food.

This was our favorite seafood restaurant until we found a lady bug in the food. This indicates uncleanliness let alone it’s a poisonous insect. I stopped eating and I was barely starting. It was a take out order so I called the restaurant explaining the situation. They said you can bring the food back and get a replacement or a refund. I said I’m fasting and I’m not gonna be bringing the food the same day I need to go get myself food from a local restaurant cuz they’re 30 minutes away.

They said it’s ok you can come anytime for a refund or replacement and they left a note and said you don’t have to bring the food back. I went ahead and threw the food in the trash. I made sure to take a video of the food in the garbage and it was barely touched. Just in case they change their mind and accuse us of eating the food and wanting a refund after agreeing on the refund.

The next day we went to get our refund back and they only gave us a refund on the meal that had the insect on it. I explained to them that we ended up throwing both meals in the trash because we were afraid the whole food is not clean. I showed them a video of us throwing both meals in the trash because we felt uncomfortable about the food. I know a lady bug to some people might not be a big deal but it’s poisonous and I’m not ordering lady bug fish. I’m ordering just fish. They refunded us for only one meal.

I asked for the owner number and one of the cooks I think pretended to be the owner cuz they don’t want this to reach for the owner. He said bring the food and I went and brought the food it was still in the kitchen trash and they still refused to refund us for both meals but instead just one even though at first they said it’s ok you don’t have to bring the food back. They insisted that we ate the food and just want our money back. We clearly showed them a video I took of the food being tossed in the trash barely touched.

What an ignorant owner that’s if he was the actual owner. I know he’s just the cook cuz he came from the back dressed in cook uniform.

I just wanna mention money is not a big deal but their attitude was like we are trying to get free food which is not the case made me insist on asking for my money back. They didn’t even apologize for the problem.

Never again. They lost a good customer. And they will be warned about to everyone I know and on...

This is the place to be when you are craving seafood with a kick. watching them walk around with peoples orders/aka plates of food, is like watching a fake commercial in which you'll never actually be able to eat that food. BUT you actually do get to eat that food here and it is freaking delicious. I order the filete relleno. no place that can do it better and the portions are big. I can never finish it, even if I'm starving. Big portions for me is like a must and they have BIG portions. It is a place that I would definitely try more than once and recommend even to the non seafood lovers because some of the stuff they make is doused in so much flavor that you don't taste fish.... you taste a concoction of deliciousness. it is also authentic seafood, non of that fast food out of the freezer or can, BS. the reason im not rating this 5 stars is because the price might not be for everybody. sometimes my favorite meal is 14.99 and next month or two months later it might cost 18.99 for the same exact meal. prices go up and down depending on season but not by a lot. I suggest if you are going on a date, expect to pay at the very least, close to 50 dollars for two people. It is very very well worth every penny though. you're not going to get seafood like this, just anywhere. This place is great. service 5 stars, food 5 stars, wait...

I've always heard about the place but never decided to actually come here until my cousins invited me out and we came here. It was a Sunday evening when we showed up, there was no wait time at all to my surprise despite being seemingly busy and were seated almost as soon as we got greeted, maybe we got lucky but it also seemed the staff was quick to clear tables as other patrons left. We were given these little appetizers of ceviche without actually ordering them so i guess that's kinda of like a "chips and salsa" kinda thing, for my taste it was a bit acidic from some kind of citrus that I think might have been from grapefruit but then again I'm trying to recall flavors but I might be mistaken for a salsa I also might have tried. The food order was taken quickly and our food didn't take as long as I actually anticipated, it didn't come out all at the same time as some of it may actually needed additional cooking time. We ordered a lot and everything was really good, was not disappointed. Why the four stars? There was live music playing for what ever table requested music, some might like it, some might not, I thought it was too loud and the venue was small for that kind of audible volume.
