I place a pickup order online and payed and when I showed up there were signs on the windows and drive through saying “closed” workers were clearly inside and it’s was 5:00pm middle of the day. I waited there for about 15 min waiting for answers or for them to open to try and get either my food that I payed for or my money back. Nobody ever gave me answers. I tried calling the store numerous times and nobody picked up the phone. I then leave and try and contact customer service to get my money back. I was Directed straight to a machine, not possible to contact a person via phone. The machine directs me to message then via email to explain the situation. They offer me a 20$ instant credit for the inconvenience and say that’s the best they can offer at this time if I accept. My meal was 43$. I told them what I want is my money back. They said 20 dollar credit is the best they can do. I decline and tell them I want to speak to a supervisor or manager. Next day a new agent messages me and asks for pictures of the closed sign to continue the claim. I respond that I don’t have picture because my focus was getting my money back or food, but direct them to call the store or check camera footage or even just look at in store sales if they need evidence. I then go to the store again the next day to speak to a manager and once again the store is closed (workers sitting inside) no signs or anything this time and online ordering is still on. (I am in the middle of email chains with customer service at this time) I send them real time pictures of them closed to the public, but open in the back door unloading product in with workers hiding inside. After this I FINALLY get my money back and they ask me to in the future take better pictures to help expedite my claims. It took me 2days, two trips to the store and a very long email chain over a 2day period to get this refund for a product I didn’t get. Even after I made them aware of the situation they kept online ordering on and people kept coming confused the entire 15 min both days that I was waiting. After I got my refund I then told them that now that I got my initial money back I would now accept the 20$ credit that the first agent offered me for the inconvenience of 2 trips, a back and fourth email chain, and 2 days of work both in person and via email to get my money back and make there mistakes right. There response is in the image below, but basically told me no the refund is all I’m getting. The level of professionalism from Popeyes is awful. You would think that after I tell them this is a major issue and no one is picking up the phones for 2 days in a row they would shut off online ordering, but NO online ordering remained active both days after knowing this was an issue and MANY CUSTOMERS were left waiting and confused. Both popeyes staff and Popeyes customer service disappointed me. Once I reverse about 15 minutes pass by then a car gets in front of me, then they give an order to that car which then I was like I hope they don't give my order to that car. After that car leaves I pull up to the window and the girl is like umm did you order tenders.. That's exactly when I knew they did give my order to the other car as I had order a chicken sandwich, a 2pc, mash potatoes, Mac cheese, fries and 2 drinks... Then the girl is like umm did that car get in front of you, ummm YEAAAA, then she looked puzzle knowing she messed up. Then lies to me that they were waiting on one of the items from my order. Made me wait another 15 minutes, at this point it has been about 30+ minutes. She finally came back to the window to tell me they didn't have Mac and cheese if I wanted another item instead.. That definitely did it for me and I asked for a refund.. she then gave me attitude telling me my order is ready asking me why do I want a refund. Then brings a guy to talk to me and now I'm arguing with them about getting a refund for an order I waited almost 40 minutes and to top it off it wasn't even complete. General Manager needs to seriously come visit this popeyes because if this continues they are shutting down soon, mark my words!!! I ended up driving down to popeyes on 4431 south archer Ave and guess what they had my order ready within 5 minutes!!! It was like day and night!!! Read moreI ordered ahead Through the Popeyes mobile app for a drive-through order when I came to the drive-through, I was immediately told that they aren’t doing drive-through anymore and then I had to ask them about my drive-through order to which I was given attitude. Eventually, I was told to pull up to the window and I did a such then I was instructed to reverse out of the way and that my food would be ready shortly I waited for about 20 minutes until I was told to be pulled forward again. When I move forward again, the girl who had previously spoken to me, had forgotten about my order and asked did I need tenders, which was not my order. I had ordered a chicken sandwich and Stated “oh my God I forgot”. Then she told me to pull forward. I waited there for an additional 10 more minutes when I received my order she gave me everything as fast as possible without making sure I got everything that I needed correctly. When I looked inside my bag I’d realize that my order was incorrect. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich one mashed potato and one mac & cheese and the mac & cheese adds an additional $.50 to the order so I did in fact pay extra When I open the bag, all I received was a regular chicken sandwich, not spicy and two mashed potatoes and because she ran inside and due to extremely long wait time I wasn’t able to get a refund.
