I recently stopped by Potbelly and decided to try their Italian Sandwich along with a cup of Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth talking about.
The Italian Sandwich was nothing short of phenomenal. Packed with salami, old-world capicola, pepperoni, mortadella, and provolone, it was a perfect harmony of flavors. Each bite delivered a balance of salty, savory, and slightly smoky notes from the meats, while the provolone added a creamy, mild sharpness that tied everything together. The bread? Absolutely perfect, toasted to a golden crisp on the outside, yet soft and warm inside. It came fully loaded with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil & vinegar, and a touch of seasoning, making every bite an explosion of flavor and texture. This wasnāt just a sandwich, it was a masterpiece.
And then came the Broccoli Cheddar Soup, rich, creamy, and packed with cheesy goodness. The consistency was smooth but had just the right amount of texture from the tender broccoli pieces. The cheddar flavor was bold without being overwhelming, creating a comforting, velvety bowl of warmth. Paired with the sandwich, it was the ultimate duo, crispy, hearty, cheesy, and delicious.
If youāre looking for a satisfying meal with bold flavors and comforting classics, Potbellyās Italian Sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar Soup are a must-try. Iāll definitely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible customer service. I was there on Sunday 8/28 at 5:30 pm. I ordered sandwiches for 3 people, including myself. There was a long line behind me, and the place was understaffed. They only had one person taking your order and two people preparing the sandwiches with the toppings. I was telling one of the employees what toppings to put on the sandwich for my girlfriend (whom I was on the phone with) and relaying the information to him. He was patient and understanding. He would repeat what I said just to double check with me. His coworker, however, was extremely rude. He said that I was āholding up the lineā. Mind you, I ordered 3 sandwiches and his coworker was already assisting me with my whole order. He started yelling at me. He told me to hurry up with my toppings; he didnāt even give me time to tell him the toppings for my second or third sandwiches; he decided to take over the other two sandwiches even though his coworker was initially assisting my order. Itās not my fault heās understaffed. His coworker was already helping me, if he was concerned about me āholding up the lineā he could have just assisted the customers behind me. There was no need to hurry me/not let me pick my toppings, much less to yell at me and give me attitude with his tone of voice and posture. Needless to say, I will not be going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe sandwiches are here are delicious! Nice place to visit if your not into Portillos (nearby) or taking a break from Portillos. Food always tastes fresh and tasty. I recommend the Turkey sandwich. Why did I remove one star? For someone new going there, a bit confusing at first. You get in a line, tell the person at the counter what you want and then....you walk forward? Or stay waiting there? Or? I know the process now. I didn't when I first went in. Employee should tell customer to place the order with him..then step down to select ingredients and keep it moving. If nothing is said, your kinda standing here waiting to see what everyone else does. Remember guys, not everyone goes there daily ..guide them. Also, sometimes the staff (cashier) seems disinterested, border line "I don't like being here" kinda attitude. It comes across. This isn't a shot at the entire staff as the guy who sometimes makes sandwiches (Latino) seems to work his butt off. Others...well..you know. For the Potbelly Corporate office: can we get a nicer selection or "diet chips".. you know what I mean. Better flavored, lower caloried , chip options. Also maybe a cookie that doesn't have as many calories as the sandwitch? Just saying more fitness-friendly options would help the...
