I got food from your location on 71st and Pulaski. I purchased 3 steak tacos and 3 chicken tomales... I opened the 3rd of the tomales I found a BUG inside of the corn wrapping on the tamale. I got sick to my stomach.  So I threw the food away, but I kept the bug... A little later I decided to call the restaurant and speak with a manager.  A young man answered the phone. I requested a manager to which he responded there was no manager there. I then asked when would they be there. He put me on hold and said around 5-6pm. Then I asked for the manager's name and he said he did couldn't give the name. I asked what kind of business practice it that where you can't give a manager's name. He answered hesitantly, Naomi. I called back about 630pm and spoke to one of the rudest people ever! When I asked for Naomi, the person asked me my name to which I promptly replied and proceeded to request Noami. She said you can speak to me. So I asked for her name to which she refused to give. I actually asked several times for her name she flat out refused to give it to me and stated that I didn't need her name. She knew my name so I didn't appreciate the fact that she refused to give me her name. The problem is that I purchased tainted food from that restaurant they offered me a credit to which I declined, because if you have rude Customer Service and BUGS in your food I'm not the Customer for Zaca! I hope that you get past control in there and some Customer Service training for your employees! This experience was horrible and I hope noone else has to go through it!!!!! Your former Custmer

I’ve driven past Zacatacos countless times, and honestly, I couldn’t even remember the last time I stepped inside. But one thing I did remember? If you’re coming here, you’re in for something good. This visit felt like reconnecting with an old friend, familiar, comforting, and packed with memories. But make no mistake, I came back for the food… and what I got was nothing short of pure bliss. I ordered three tacos, two asada and one al pastor and each one was a knockout. The asada was everything it should be: tender, juicy steak with just the right amount of char, seasoned beautifully with hints of citrus and smokiness. The meat was hot and fresh, tucked into two warm tortillas that held everything together perfectly without falling apart. But the al pastor… that’s where things really lit up. It was bold and vibrant, with sweet, caramelized pineapple peeking through the savory, marinated pork. The spices danced on my tongue, earthy, a little spicy, a little sweet, perfectly balanced and cooked just right. Topped with fresh chopped onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime, each taco was layered with flavor and texture. The salsas on the side added that extra kick, especially the red one, which brought a tangy heat that lingered just long enough. Coming back to Zacatacos after all this time reminded me why it’s always been a staple. It’s more than just good food, it’s a taste of tradition, consistency, and quality. If you haven’t been in a while, take this as your sign. Go back. Order your favorites. You’ll remember why you fell in love with it in the first place.

I usually frequent this location. I stopped years ago and started up again. This day I ordered a chimichanga as usual. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a fried burrito. As I’m eating it I felt a bone. Which was okay. It was chicken. Then as I continued eating I felt a bone on the other half. I actually looked and discovered they were not bones but toothpicks. How did toothpicks get inside my food? The bigger question is did it come from someone’s mouth. The thought makes me want to puke. Called the restaurant and sent a picture as requested. The lady said the manager would contact us but never did. Don’t trust the food here. I’ll never eat here again.

We will never go here again...we have spent tons of money in this place but will now take pur business elsewhere...Had our order messed up and did not notice it until we got home...mind you we live 35 to 40 minutes away depending on traffic. I had called and complained that day and i was put on hold tons of times. Called again today and was told to give the receipt number. I called back again and was put on hold for 15 minutes then the call eas lost...called again and was put on hold for 30. Litetally drove to there while on hold. We got there to doors being locked due to covid mandates...hence there was no one in the store except employees. The manager came out and argued with us about not calling...which I repeated 5 times that we did the day of and also twice today. I even showerld ger how long I was on hold for...that I just wanted my food replaced. After 15 minutes of her not understanding. I asked for the general managers info...I asked her how to pronounce his name and she told me to pretty much fidure it out. I called him explained the situation and he apologized and said he would be there in 5 minutes...20 minutes had gone by and I had to try to call him again and he didnt answer. Then a woman called me and i had to repeat my order literally 6 times to her on what was wrong. She then said she had to call me back to find out what happened. After literally an hour of sitting there...my food wasnt replaced at all instead I was offered a 30% credit that within a second was changed to 15%.... Like seriously....50 dollar order....oh and the reason they couldnt answer is because they have a bunch of people there ordering food....mind u the place like I said vefore was empty...should have took a...
