First and foremost, this is an order first then sit down restaurant. Not the first that I've been to but what threw us off was the suggested tip which started at 20%. The service overall during our visit was normal due to the fact that we had to go up to order and water is self serve. We ordered 2 brisket and meatball pho, sausage spring roll and 2 viet iced coffee. The spring rolls were good but didn't seem to have much stuffing e.g. not enough noodles, no cucumber, etc. The peanut sauce was good though so I'll give it that. The pho is good but felt like it could've been better. The broth is simple but a bit bland to my liking. Noodles were the perfect texture for chewing and didn't fall apart. There wasn't any chili oil so that was a bit of a bummer. The iced coffee tasted like a frappuccino and lacked the strong coffee taste. Overall...
Read moreWow!! I just found my new favorite restaurant near DePaul—and my favorite pho spot in all of Chicago!
First, their takeout packaging is absolutely genius. I’ve had so many issues with pho spilling or tipping over from other places, but they’ve thought of everything to make sure that doesn’t happen.
The premade bowl with noodles, chicken, and onion was perfect. Since my office doesn’t provide disposable bowls, having everything in a ready-to-use container made it incredibly easy to just add the broth. Plus, it’s great for storing leftovers.
Finally - most importantly - the flavor is incredible. I had pho in Vietnam, and this is exactly the fresh, clean, and authentic taste I’ve been missing. The chicken is unbelievably tender, the broth is rich but not greasy, and every ingredient is perfection.

Read more3 Asian Sisters is easily one of the best spots for pho and Vietnamese food in Lincoln Park. The pho here is fantastic. The broth is super flavorful without feeling heavy, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into making it. The brisket was really tender, and the noodles were just right.
I also tried the classic bánh mì and it was great! The bread was soft but had just enough crunch, and they didn’t skimp on the fillings. Everything was fresh and well-balanced.
Their noodle bowls are worth a mention too. The mix of hot beef and cold noodles worked perfectly, and the homemade fish sauce was a nice touch.
On top of the great food, the owner is really welcoming and makes you feel at home. If you’re into Vietnamese food—or just looking for a solid meal—this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be...
