The High Crowd Cafe — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I had the 25mg lemonade - which is somehow the absolute lowest dose you can start with - and it was honestly the most disruptive and horrific experience of my life thus far.

After slowly sipping on the lemonade for about an hour and a half and not even finishing the entire drink, by the time I arrived home an hour later, I began to endure what can only be described as the most disorienting mental torture you can voluntarily inflict upon yourself.

I immediately began to feel as if I were going to disappear from this plane of existence, and even existence itself. Fear nested inside me like a parasite with no method of extermination.

If anyone has seen Inception, I had to physically touch my best friend like a totem in order to not feel like I was going to vanish from the universe.

The rest was mental chaos beyond comprehension, from thinking I was traveling into the future to being "trapped in the Papa John's app for over 20 minutes." Physical abilities ceased for a span of time and I had no control over my faculties.

Going to bed was a risk I had no choice but to take. Luckily, the effects had mostly worn off by the time the sun rose, but that was not my best Monday.

This place should be eradicated from the Earth. The dosages are dangerous. The strains are hazardous. And the disclosure they give you upon ordering is deceiving and misleading and flat out false.

I would say proceed with caution but don't proceed unless you wish to terrorize yourself for what seems like an eternity.

I am a regular consumer of drugs including mushrooms. I have seen buildings melt before my very eyes and this was a more horrendously traumatic experience. I'll stick to delta 9 thc, mushrooms, and ecstasy where I feel safe, taken care of, and most importantly, in total...

This was my first THC cafe ever. I loved it so much. Unfortunately I don’t live close so I tried a couple others after this one but I’ll have to keep making the trip out to The High Crowd because it’s the best. I’ve tried a few things off of the menu. The infused lattes were delicious and what I loved about it was that it was soothing. I felt organized in my thoughts, social and overall uplifted. The cupcake was also delicious. I didn’t even taste the THC which is how I like my infused pastries. The buttercream on the cupcake was top notch. I also had one of their sativa pre rolls, highly recommend. I’m a regular at this store I come in once, maybe twice, a week. I don’t know why anyone would outright lie about them not having infused drinks or pastries. I’ve gone in at least once a week since they’ve opened and I’ve never seen them not offer their signature products.
