I feel like I could write a love letter to Ancient Grounds, haha. This coffee shop is the right place for anything, and thatâs rare to find all in one stop.
You could sit here to get work done. Good music for ambiance, you could take a call and it wouldnât be disruptive but itâs not so loud that itâs distracting. Plenty of outlets and lots of tables to sit at near the front with natural light.
You could sit for a while to eat or enjoy a coffee flight with a friend. The decor and exposed brick are beautiful and there are delicious food and drink options. You can chat without worrying about being too loud because there is a good mix of people working and people chatting. There are blinds you can lower on the front windows for sunny days.
You could grab food or coffee to go. People were in an out quickly, met with friendly service that doesnât rush you to make a decision and offer any advice if needed. The food/drinks are good enough that Iâd stop in here even if I couldnât stay.
I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, iced, and it was absolutely delicious. Iâm not a huge sweet coffee person so I was hesitant but it was actually just the right amount, not overwhelmingly sugary at all. I would definitely order again. The mustard in the ham sandwich hit just the tight note.
When itâs not really busy, the baristas bring drinks and food to the table which is really nice. They were so friendly, patient, and helpful. I was in the area for an appointment and needed to get some work done afterwards and so glad it brought me here. I canât wait...
Read morei stopped by here one morning to get some coffee to go. the service and the atmosphere was really nice. itâs a really cute spot and very aesthetically pleasing, everyoneâs pretty nice as well. the only thing I was disappointed on was the coffee. I ordered a 16 oz hot mocha. I really donât like to complain at all im not really an outspoken person. the coffee was like frothy, watery coffee. it was pretty busy inside when I stopped by and it was my first time here. i want to give benefit of the doubt that it was pretty busy inside at the time. but the coffee tasted almost bitter, i did not taste the mocha at all. I tried to gaslight myself into thinking I can taste it, but i did not with every sip i took. I understand every establishment has different procedures and recipes for their items, but I really just did not like the coffee when I came in. thatâs just my experience though, overall the service and the atmosphere was...
Read moreAvoid this overhyped cafe at all costs. Despite its recent Instagram fame, it's a crushing disappointment. The latte flight, its supposed claim to fame, is only available on weekdays between 10 to 3 - a ridiculously limited window. And even if you manage to arrive within this narrow timeframe, you'll likely be turned away due to the cafe's minuscule size and absurd policy of allowing customers to hog tables for hours. Cafe policy of allowing customers to work there, means you wonât have a chance to get a table and they serve coffee only if you get a table.
The hype surrounding this cafe is a joke. In reality, it's a cramped, overpriced disaster with abysmal service. And to add insult to injury, there are far superior cafes just a stone's throw away, offering better quality, service, and value.
Don't waste your time or money on this underwhelming experience. Take your business (and your Instagram...
