âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ If you're craving something refreshing, vibrant, and a little out of the ordinary, Bambu in Chicago is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of Uptown, this cozy spot offers a wide variety of Vietnamese-inspired drinks and desserts, with a focus on chèâa layered, customizable treat made with coconut milk, jellies, beans, and fruit. The menu is impressively diverse, with over 80 options ranging from fruit smoothies and milk teas to bold coffee blends and signature dessert drinks. I tried the Coconut Combo and Taro Lover, and both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balancedânot overly sweet, which I appreciated. You can adjust sugar levels and swap ingredients to suit your taste, which makes the experience feel personal and fun. The shop itself is clean and modern, with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff who are happy to walk you through the menu if you're new to Vietnamese desserts. Service was quick, and the drinks were beautifully presented. Whether you're stopping by for a midday treat or looking for something unique to share with friends, Bambu delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and hospitality. Iâll definitely be back to try more combinationsâand maybe even bring a few curious friends and my whole family...
Read moreI go there a lot and I order the same drink but the cashier girl was so rude to me. She give me the wrong drink and I told her it wasn't my drink. She wouldn't listen to me at all she keep telling me I got it wrong. She keep making it seem like it was my fault. She didn't even say that she was sorry to me. Plus she didn't change my drink and keep telling me that it was mine. She was pretty much being rude and screaming at me. I had to pay too. I don't know her name but she have brown hair with a loud voice. When she call the order out. Never going back there again. P.S. you just lost "50 costumers" in one order girl. Good job. đđđđ I am never going to take or tell my costumer's about...
Read moreMy first time having chĂŠ and it was awesome! I enjoyed it so much đ I got #2 and my friend got #6. My friend is viet and she said it was good too. The size was bigger than I expected because the cups are actually wider than standard cups. They didnât skimp on the toppings! It was a textural adventure and very refreshing. I would totally go back! The service was also really quick.
Good thing to note though is they strictly close at 8PM - some people tried to get an order in as they were closing but they said they closed, no more orders. So make sure to give yourself like 5-10 minutes...
