This was (it used to be, not any more) my favorite place for original Viet food for the past 20 years. I visited Last November and new wait staff was rude and not talking or not acknowledging requests. (If no English, no problem, you can acknowledge with a smile, your head or other gestures) I dont expect the best customer service, because I know this culture doesn't care about this and neither do I. I care about the food and experience a real Viet meal. (Some chineese dishes included in menu, not my fave either). My biggest dissapointing was when I requested in the center of the table the different sauces and chillis they offer as part of this food. The tables had no sauces at all, and when I requested chili garlic sauce they said "we dont provide that any more" but even if I offered to pay for it. No pickle garlic, no pickle chillis. Only thing handed to me was sirracha and hoising sauce.
I understand the economy, the inflation and prices in general. Raise the price if necessary, but dont limit the ingridients and sides that make this food so unique!

Read morewow! I wish I had come here sooner!!! I lived in Vietnam for 4 years and have been craving a good banh mi and this place did NOT disappoint! Good crispy baguette and decent amount of fillings for $5.95, which is amazing since most places around Argyle are around $10.
Had bun thit heo (ugh can't ever remember the whole name!) it's rice vermacelli with grilled pork and veggies with a fried egg roll and fish sauce. So good.
Definitely coming back!!! Also the servers were nice, especially the younger girl, she was so cute and just running around the place as it was lunch time and very busy.
Atmosphere is nothing special as it's just next to the doorway into the grocery store, but it doesn't matter when the food is so...
Read moreFinally stepped into this joint after moving to the area well over a year ago and I'm super happy I did. The staff was so friendly here compared to some other places I've been to in the area, but most importantly, the food was delicious and affordable! The entrance is located within the entrance of the Asian grocery store next door (Park To Shop).
This place is a very no-frills type of restaurant with a very extensive menu. We ordered the Thit Kho (braised pork belly with hard boiled egg and fish sauce), the Canh Chua Cá (sweet & sour catfish soup, as well as a little appetizer and everything was soooo good. This meal was perfect for a rainy day!
Also - super grateful they are BYOB and also open on...
