I had a fantastic dining experience at Silver Seafood Restaurant! The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was going to be a special meal. The menu at Silver Seafood Restaurant offers a wide variety of seafood options, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the ingredients used in each dish. The flavors were exquisite, and I particularly enjoyed the perfectly grilled salmon. The only minor drawback was that there were fewer pictures of the food on the menu. It would have been helpful to see more visuals to get a better idea of what to expect. However, the descriptions were detailed enough to make informed choices. Overall, I highly recommend Silver Seafood Restaurant for its exceptional cuisine and warm ambiance. Don't let the lack of food pictures deter you from trying their delectable dishes!

A classic hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant in Vietnamese town. This place holds many nostalgic memories growing up in Chicago and as a patron of this restaurant for decades, I finally found some time to come back and make a review. Decently cheap Chinese food with delicious and PLENTIFUL options (intimidating amounts). Would recommend bringing large groups of people as the portions are made with family-style sharing in mind. Staple items: salt & pepper smelt, Japanese fried tofu, sweet pork-chop, and duck buns! But there are so much more to choose from and the options pictured above are also very good. Would always come back here when craving Chinese food without the energy to drive all the way down South!

Silver seafood is a traditional Chinese restaurant with a wide variety of dishes to accommodate anyone’s taste buds. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but a wholesome traditional Chinese restaurant with solid food. The service was good, the wait staff was attentive. The atmosphere is typical Chinese restaurant with fish tanks for fresh seafood, lobsters, crabs. We enjoyed crab Rangoon, salt and pepper tofu, salt and pepper pork chops, roasted pigeon, vegetable chow fun, sautéed chow mein with soy sauce, orange chicken, shrimp with walnuts. Everything was good, although not exceptional. I would go here again for a solid Chinese dinner.

I have been going to Silver Sefood food for about 15 years 3 times ...MANY times we are a party of 10 or more.. I've had a problem ordering and/or doing take out.. 3 strikes and your OUT.. ALL 3 times the mistake has liied within the restaurant however the restaurant insist it lies within the customer meaning myself.. Each time they have made sure they knew that they were not at fault and that it was the customer's fault This is the reason why that I and my friends will never go to silver Seafood again. There is always a problem it comes to the management versus the customer with the customer losing ...they love to argue till that happens There are better Chinese restaurant...I suggest you go to Le szechaun across the street from them. The service and food are so much better. Lost a good customer. And...

NEW HOURS CLOSED WEDNESDAYS.. FOR NOW?

I wanted to write this review to help other customers trying to order on Wednesday’s. I ordered for delivery today (Wednesday) through the listing platform and found out after waiting a couple hours, driving up there, and reading the handwritten sign that says closed Wednesday’s [during the pandemic].

Unfortunately, we can not read the sign at home..

The hours need to be updated on the search platform, google listings, Yelp, everywhere.

I am not leaving a low rating (even though I am hangry and had to contact the delivery service to cancel my payment for the order after waiting well OVER 2 hours) because the food is always excellent and I enjoy the staff and have been eating from here for years. They serve the best salted pepper shrimp...
