Mochinut - Lincoln Park — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I highly recommend visiting if you are in the neighborhood or just passing through. Sandy is a wonderful business owner, and you will see her in the shop and all over the city!

They are always rotating flavors for the season, holidays, and special events. Generally, I’m not a huge fan of donuts, but there’s something different about mochinuts that I really enjoy. They’re not overwhelming in sugar, and the rice flour makes for a pleasant experience and texture. I have yet to try the corn dogs or hot foods.

They also have many traditional Asian style beverages like Boba tea, Thai tea, and different lemonades.

Also, thanks to Vanessa and Malia for being so sociable at the register!

It’s a cute space, so if you wanna treat yourself after a meal or a long day, I highly recommend stopping in to grab at least one...

Finally made it to Mochinut's newest location in Lincoln Park. The moment you walk in you it gives you a happy feeling. Love the bright colors and flowers murals on the wall and the happy faces of the staff.

I had pre ordered a dozen donuts for Super Bowl and they were ready for me when I went to pick them up. The donuts looked and tasted amazing. While at the store we also tried the Thai tea and Korean Rice hot dog . The Thai tea was flavorful and refreshing. The hot dogs were amazing , we tried the potatoes and hot Cheetos one and enjoyed them both.

They have a nice selection of mochi donuts, and I love that they are so light, fluffy and not overly sweet. Some of the mochinut flavors we tried were Churro, Ube, and Chocolate . Each of them was a 10/10 for me. Can't wait to go back and try the other...

We used to visit this establishment fairly regularly, but today’s experience was very strange. We started ordering a dozen donuts, and for some reason the staff thought we have added flavors we did not even mention. We had to start over the order a few times and double checked them to make sure what we wanted was clear.

However, when we got home, we found that they still messed up the order- that the flavors were not matching what we have ordered, or what is printed on the receipt. This was disappointing since this place is a bit out of the way for us and I was looking forward to having the tasty donuts! Hope they do a better job at training their employees more so that they won’t mess up...
