I am ELATED that this spot opened up on Lincoln. Itās 100% Halal and 100% delicious.
Starting with the hummus, itās luxuriously creamy and well seasoned with green zhoug on top. Absolutely wonderful by itself, with pita, or as a compliment to a sandwich. Chickpeas are the supreme bean for me, and this hummus celebrates them.
The falafel was cooked to order and decadently soft and flavorful on the inside, with a satisfying crispy bite on the outside.
They have two trompos featuring the beef and chicken shawerma. I tried the beef, and itās out of this world. The spices really permeate the tender, tender meat. Are these pitas homemade? So soft, so pillowy, so perfect for the pita sandwich ($8.99).
The sandwiches are crafted in such a way that you have veg bites throughout the whole thing instead of them being layered carelessly. You can really feel there is pride here in the food. I mean, it absolutely shows!
The toum (garlic sauce) is also worth calling out. Usually itās semi-solid, but OMGās is on the thinner side and easier for adding to the sandwiches. Itās not missing any of that wonderful garlic flavor. The tahini and hot sauce that come with the sandwiches were also excellent. The hot sauce has a great heat but subtle vinegar flavor to make it easy to eat for even the most spice-wary diner.
They have really nice drink selection too!
The owner was so sweet and she was helping in the kitchen as well. There are a few dining tables for eating in, and they have an app for pickup orders! The restaurant itself if very bright and cheery with an open kitchen.
OMG, youāve definitely made a customer for life. Thank you for the warmth and kindness on a...

Unfortunately, our experience with this restaurant was very disappointing. We had chosen it not only for my husbandās birthday dinner, but also because we missed our native middle eastern dishes and were hoping for a pleasant evening. However, after ordering food from them, we suffered from food poisoning and had to seek treatment. What makes matters worse, my husband found a cockroach in the food, which was extremely disturbing, physically sickening, and emotionally unsettling. My husband became uncontrollably sick and vomited nonstop in the restaurant and I ran outside and vomited uncontrollably right out their front door. It was an awful nightmare. My husband tried to reach out to the restaurant owner to explain what happened, but unfortunately, there was no responseānot even a simple check-in on our health or any attempt to resolve the issue.
This experience affected us emotionally, especially given the special occasion. This is not a minor matter, and I hope that management takes responsibility and seriously reviews their hygiene standards and food quality to prevent this from happening to...
