Pockets Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I LOVE Pockets! I have lived around the corner for more than a year now, I love this place and my boyfriend and I come here often. Feels like once a week! As a vegetarian I always get the Green Kale pocket with hard boiled eggs, it's so yummy and absolutely what I get when I'm in need of fresh veggies. I really like how the pita is warmed but the salad is fresh and cold 🤌 The dressings are delicious, I really love the honey mustard. And I like how the pocket really fills me up 👍 When you order in restaurant, they have sheets of paper for you to customize your Pocket/wrap/salad (pick proteins, lettuce, additional toppings, etc). My boyfriend always switches up what he gets, and he really loves the variety of choices! The staff are always so nice, they always greet us and we've always had a great experience overall 🙌 Anyways if you haven't tried this place, I highly recommend it for fast fresh food, or a step up from your regular salad 🥙 Thanks for excellent food and excellent service...

I have loved Pockets since the mid 90s so I write this with a heavy heart. My last 2 orders have mostly gone into the trash. And this last order was unfortunately the last one I'll ever make. The bread was thin and hard, not fluffy and fresh as it once was. The produce was dry and stale, and the dressings gave us both weird reactions, as though they contained msg or something. Never had that reaction in all the years we've been ordering there. And after wasting a lot of $$ on food I mostly threw out, I'm done. I'd hoped that prior order was a fluke, everyone has an off day, but apparently now the quality is gone. We LOVED pockets so this is a huge disappointment, but it's a lot of money to waste. With delivery, we've thrown out most of $50 worth of food. But the delivery was always fast and one of the 2 drivers was super friendly. The other, not so much. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THIS LAST LOCATION!!! I have followed you guys for 24+ years. I used to get my fix on Chicago Avenue as a college student at Moody till that closed. Then I started going to the Pockets on North Avenue, then Franklin and then Madison in the West Loop. One by one you have closed all of my locations. I have not been to this Lincoln Avenue location, but will def drive up from the South Suburbs to get my fix! I will die if you guys close for good. Friends who have moved away to Cali and TN always want to hit pockets when they're back in town; IT'S THAT GOOD! BEST FOOD EVER!!! we love the salads and the BBC and Broccolator Calzones with ranch. The ranch dressing is the best I have ever had. If you close for good I will die. I would even voice radio commercials for you for free for the rest of my life. Stay open! Please and...
