Absolutely blown away by Qbo Latin Cafe — the newest gem to hit Lakeview! I stopped in with my wife last week for a coffee and walked away with so much more... From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed by vibrant decor, upbeat Latin music, and the kind of warmth that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food and culture they’re serving up.

As for the food — wow. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavor and creativity. The empanadas are perfectly crisp and generously filled but the arepa bar was my personal fave. And don’t skip out on any of the specialty lattes — mine was rich, smooth, and easily rivals any coffeehouse in the city. Whether you’re grabbing a delicious bite or craving a freshly made smoothie or coffee, Qbo Latin Cafe nails it with heart, flavor, and flair. ...

I’M ADDICTED! Let’s start with the owners… LiLi & Nadia are wonderful individuals! From the exceptional customer service and attentiveness. They always will make sure you were satisfied with your meal and will also have you leaving with a smile on your face! The food is exceptional from the freshness and burst of flavor; you can tell everything they make is out of love. The empanadas are delicious, especially the pabellon empanada…. Chefs kiss! The fresh waters are delicious, especially the cucumber lemon and also try the passion fruit freshwater— a great way to stay hydrated. The lattes are exceptional, especially all the Matcha lattes that are made with real fruit from mango, strawberry, even passion fruit! The food is absolutely phenomenal. I have had the breakfast empanadas twice, and they are some of the best empanadas I have had. The green sauce is A+ so good. My iced coffee drinks have also been amazing. Strong coffee flavor with Dark Matter coffee.

The two ladies who own it are extraordinarily nice. My wife has been back three times in a week and I have had things twice. They remember us, and their attention to service is a pleasure.

One note: it's currently just the two of them as they try to hire good help (not easy of course). As such, things are a little more vacation speed at the moment..if you're rushing in and out, you may be irritated if it's busy. If you want to be a jerk about that then Starbucks is actually across the street.

In terms of the final product, I'll take Q'bo and it's not close.
