Post pandemic service industry has taken a hit. People that do show up are in two camps , 1, where they care 2. Where service people are entrenched in an attitude that the people they are there to serve should be grateful that they showed up........I personally am extremely grateful for my baristas, having said that......on Sunday I visited this Starbucks where Nate took my order and couldn't have been any more gracious........ deciding I wanted something to eat , the young lady that was on register was the exact opposite, she was rude and extremely dismissive........Nate took my order and salvaged why could've been an even further uncomfortable situation.......his energy and emotional intelligence...
Read moreFor 18 months of COVID, this Starbucks was pretty much the only reason I ever got out of the house. I moved into the neighborhood in May of 2020, and went through a pretty bad personal experience a month later, and coming to this Starbucks daily for a few months pretty much kept me alive 💀The staff here is the nicest and were so quick to recognize me even with masks. We’re thinking that someone on the crew called out or didn’t show up because there were only two crew members and they HANDLED IT! There was a crowd of lulu lemon stretch pants, messy buns, strollers, over stimulated, over indulged screaming children and yoga moms as far as the eye could see and that crew of two handled business.
