All Star Grill — Restaurant in Lake Wales

Made a quick (sort of) stop on the way back east from Tampa. Atmosphere was nice, a typical rural area sports bar but was well lit. It was reasonably clean, most tables were full but there was plenty of wait staff. TVs everywhere to watch the Sunday games. The waitress was super friendly and pleasant. The wait for food was pretty bad. The table behind us was ordering when we got there and our order was taken next. The table behind us (4 top) got their food in about forty minutes, keeping in mind every other table appeared to have already eaten or was eating. Our food (2 people) was twenty minutes later leaving the kitchen for two sandwiches. I would have to assume this means they were cooking one table at a time. Never the less, I needed a break from the drive back from Tampa to Vero anyway. My burger was undercooked, but i intentionally ordered it overcooked since that seems to be the way to go in places like this. It didn't disappoint. The fries were inexplicably delicious. My wife's Philly was lacking in cheese and for some reason on a white bread/hot dog bun, but otherwise tasted good. Would give this place negative stars but it won't let me. My co workers and I ordered lunch from this place. Order came to about $100. Order was wrong. They sent hot wings instead of mild. I don't eat spicy food so I couldn't eat the wings. The salad was soggy the food was disgusting, No utensils were placed in bag (& we ordered like 4 salads). No salad dressing was placed in the bag. We specifically ordered ranch and blue cheese. Well nothing came in the bag. When we called to inform them of the order being completely wrong. Kiana answered the phone and was very rude about the situation. After demanding to speak to the manager several times. I found out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Juan who stated he was the manager was ghetto at it's finest. Instead of trying to rectify the situation he tried to justify it. He even went to the extent to tell me that he works 14 hours a day. When asked who is his boss, he told me he doesn't have one. He runs that location. I told him everybody has a boss and asked for the contact information. He refused to even acknowledge a higher authority. It's the principle of the situation that needs better. Horrible customer...

So I went there on my 30 minute lunch break and I called in an order of mozzarella sticks and wings. They changed the mozzarella sticks. I tried ONE in the car and it was soggy and nasty so I took it back and asked for my money back. They told me for me to get my money back they would have to refund the wings and the mozzarella sticks and then charge my card again for the wings and I would not get my money back for 3 to 5 days so I said that’s fine just give me a credit. Well today I ordered a burger for two dollars and some change extra and you would think since I was inconvenienced by having to go to work with half a lunch and I couldn’t get my money back that they would waive the three dollars and the manager lady told me no she can’t do that! I had the money and didn’t mind I just think it’s terrible customer service. Customer service will make me not go back.
