Waited a long time in drive thru once I started my order they could not get it right no matter how I tried to explain it. So they got the manager on the mic. I wanted a bacon cheeseburger no beef pattie ( meaning only bacon) so once she says she understands she asked "single or double" at this point frustrated. I said I would come inside because I had been trying to order for about 10 minutes. Parked walked inside to find a line of 4-5 other customers standing waiting to order NO ONE running the register, and other customers saying to eachother, I think they forgot about us. Que me looking over to drive through to see a woman standing at the drive thru window with TWO ear buds In on her phone. I said that it would be better service if she put her phone down and worked but due to her ear buds she did not hear me. However another employee did and told me that she was working drive thru so it did not matter that she was on her phone. This is when the manager stepped in and told her that is not how you handle this. She then stayed that she was the one that was trying to take my order in drive thru second. The one who wanted to know if I wanted my nopattie sandwich with one or two patties. At this point I could not continue. Now my son said mom, you went into Karen mode, but it was for the greater good. Was I the most polite no, should I have just drove off after the drive thru could not get my order right, yes, I need to be a little less Karen, and they need alot more help. Also they where out of coke and Sprite. So management needs...
Read moreDon't ever visit this Wendy's. I travel the southeast United States and this was the slowest drive-thru line I have ever experienced. It officially set back my commute by 25 minutes and there were only two cars in front of me when I ordered. Then they could not fill my drink order or my Frosty order, which is a problem because it was a mobile order and they said they did not know how to refund anything for a mobile order. So after changing and accepting different choices for those items I waited even longer. On my commute through Florida I will definitely not be stopping at this location anymore.
Update, does anyone have any suggestions on how to eat a frosty without a straw or spoon? Do I just let it melt until it's liquefied and then I can drink it?
Update: Heading back over to the east coast for a business trip again this week, the latest photo is showing me driving right past this Wendy's and never stopping there again. I'm actually waiting another 70 mi to stop at another location that is actually open for business and not...
Read moreThis place is a mess! Employees standing around talking, doing anything but addressing us when we were at the counter to order. They walked by MANY times and didn’t even acknowledge us! EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE IGNORED US for about 5 minutes. We should have walked out but instead we said something and finally someone came to take our order. Well it took FOREVER to get our order, because no one knew what to do- it’s like they didn’t have someone assigned to address counter orders. It’s was odd and horrible experience. And was not busy what so ever. Frosty machine was down- the lady didn’t know how to handle it. We finally just said can we get normal cups then. No refund for the frostys.
On top of that, this place is dirty. Since I had to stand there for so long, I started looking around and cookie container was disgusting. The drink machine was dirty. The counters dirty. And the drink machine has MANY options totally out. Won’t be back- go to McDonald’s across the street instead. They obviously need better management...
