*11/12/24- this place gets worse and worse😥 Gave them a shot, hoping ( because my dine in experience was"ok" when I took the grandkids) I could grab dinner on the way home. OMG!!! the drive through was horrible! First the lady on the intercom just says "can I help you?" doesn't say "good afternoon may I take your order?" nothing! sounds like she's in a bad mood and maybe needs to find a new job because it appears that she doesn't like her current job with the way she speaks to customers when you pull up. I pull up to get my order from the nice young lady from the window and then I drive across town, to my home so I can feed my family. The enchilada was so hard and so salty you couldn't eat it I had to use a steak knife, the tamale was overcooked the tortillas for the tacos and the tostadas were stale and I ordered the fajita dinner for my husband and I barely put any meat in the plate and I paid $18! Yes! $18 for some cheap can of refried beans overcooked rice and a little bit of meat! I called the manager and he says if I have a receipt he'll just give me a refund right over the phone, which kind of made me think wow! He must know the food really sucks for him to automatically offer a refund. I told him no I was driving back across town and they were going to remake it. I get there , the manager is very nice makes a full order for me and apologized and says he saw the food and was very deeply apologetic and hands me my order. I happily leave however! I should have looked at the food again before I left because it was the same s they served me the first time! The food was terrible absolutely terrible!! when you can't bite through a taco because it's so stale and you need a steak knife to cut through an enchilada there was so much salt in it it tasted like somebody had it in the ocean. It's utterly ridiculous I will try a different location before I go back to this one it's very sad because when I first discovered Rosa's Cafe , the food was out of this world! It was very good the quality and the quantity was delicious and over the last couple of years it has gotten worse and so has the customer service.
*"Update thought I'd try this place again- sadly again I was disappointed - HOW do you feed a family of 4, the fajita meal when you're only given maybe 3 cups of meat and veggies. And for 45.00 with chips. Ridiculous! I have a picture not sure I can upload it. Went through the drive thru- Ordered the fajita fiesta family dinner - they barely gave me any meat, no beans as what the dinner said it came with and then tried to charge me 8.00 for the smallest bowl of queso! Food is good, quality amount has gone down and the price is up! They don't wrap your food up in Saran wrap like...

Walked in and we were waiting and trying to figure out what we wanted. There was Noone else at the counter or waiting behind us. The girl at the cash register seemed like she was in a rush. My husband let her know we were still trying to figure out what we wanted to order. She seemed annoyed but I just chalked that up to her possibly having a bad day. She ended up walking away and another young man walked up the register with his hat half way covering his face. Specifically his eyes. He seemed extremely annoyed as we were ordering. I asked for the beef nachos and he must not have heard me and that's ok to slow me down and ask again. I would not have minded that.. but as I moved on to the next food item he snapped at me in a very annoyed and aggressive way saying "WHAT KIND OF NACHOES BEEF OR CHICKEN OR WHAT!"
At that point I could feel that my response was not going to be very kind and I said to him "It will be nothing!" And I had to walk away. It angered me because I know it is a simple restaurant but my husband and I rarely get to have a date night. One- we work all the time. Two- We usually cant afford it.. it has been a rough year. We received a gift card to eat at Rosas and we were really excited. It really ruined it but we decided to go to the one near hulen and our experience there was great. My point is.. Maybe you were having a rough day I don't know but when you sign up to work a job that involves customer service you have to be able to put your personal life aside and consider someone else.
If they had smiled and maybe said it's been a day I could appreciate that but to bleed your ugly attitude all over my good day not cool! DO BETTER!
Hulen location was friendly clean and yummy. Thanks for turning our date...
Read moreOrdered cheese enchiladas w queso and double rice, enchiladas were ice cold and the tortillas used for the enchiladas were so tough I couldn’t eat the one bite I tried to take, I could barely get the fork to cut through so I immediately took it back to be re made get the food and they had dumped my double rice and gave me rice and beans I just came here straight from work and so at this point I wanted a refund and to go home. When I asked for the refund the manager who apparently was the person that re made my food came to the register with a horrible attitude and said “WELL I DIDNT EVEN KNOW YOUR PLATE HAD NO BEANS” but when I had asked for my plate to be re made there was no trace of beans on it, and all my rice was still on the plate when I had took it back up there, I stood there silently and waited for the receipt for my refund and once I got it he rudely told me to give him my food back since I wanted a refund after the experience and that he would not replace it again and firmly put his hand out for me to give him the plate.. The fact that my food was horrible and disgusting on the first place and I had to wait for it to be re made and then the MANAGER didn’t pay attention to the plate he was re making and then got mad ab me wanting a refund is so unprofessional, the fact that he NEVER apologized and instead took my food and didn’t even offer to give me food to go to make up for the bad experience honestly blew my mind, I’ll probably never come back to this location especially if I see this...
