If I could leave no stars, I would. We went up there on a busy sunday morning and we were next to be seated. We were standing by the doors where we always do, and some old woman (that had almost ran me over in the parking lot to park next to us, she had to slam on the breaks until I shut my door) fast walked to that table and put her purse down. My father walked over and informed her POLITELY that that seat was supposed to be for us. She continued to stay there and the guy who seats people told her it was for us. She got up and went and sat down. My father and I were then moved on. We were talking about other stuff and this woman would not let it go. When she was finally seated (BEHIND US, thanks Dan), she kept talking about it and I was tired of it. I told her to drop it and the only reason we were upset is that she almost ran me over (so she knew we had just gotten there), and claimed that she didn't know that we were waiting for our seat. How did she not know that? She saw us in the parking lot. And she then said "That is bullsh*t!" She cussed at me, so my father went off on her because she cussed at his daughter. The manager lady came over and wouldn't move her because the woman refused to move. This is where the manager should've taken that initiative to make her move. She had cussed at me and almost ran me over. She didn't make her move. So this old woman took a photo of us, and my father and I dropped it. Later, when it was time for us to pay and leave, Dan decided to apologize to HER, as if we had even done anything wrong. She wouldn't shut up about it, before we had even said anything else, and she had cussed at me. A grown woman cussing at a late teenager. We didn't get an apology. We didn't get anything in turn for our bad experience. We didn't leave a tip, but we will leave this bad review because the managers and employees at this Waffle House do not understand how to take care of a confrontation or how to fairly apologize to both parties involved. They only apologized to her because she was an older "vulnerable" woman. Don't expect all older women to be kind, there are some evil people out there-of all ages. I hope if she goes to church they eventually see her for who she really is. Without a doubt, she will not be going to a good place...
Read moreI placed an order yesterday by Favor for myself and my family that has been under quarantine and cannot leave the house. If I could give this Waffle House a zero I would. The order came incomplete and when I tried calling (like 12 times) yesterday I got a recording stating to call back in a few minutes because they were busy with customers.
I called their location today in regards to the mistake hoping for a redo of my order. To my surprise they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lady who answered said that because the order was placed yesterday that I would have to speak with someone who worked yesterday. I told her I tried calling repeatedly yesterday with no response.
So, I asked to speak with a manager and another lady came to the line. I told her my situation and she said that they make what they are told to order from Favor and if I had called yesterday then they would have looked up the order. She refused to look up the order or replaced the messed up order. This was the worse customer service I have ever experienced and she was incredibly rude.
I am a nurse and know all about having to work through this pandemic . In fact I am at risk daily with COVID patients. My review has nothing to do with me not understanding the stress of how working in the middle of a pandemic goes. So if I am held to a standard of care I expect a small level of customer service at least. Instead I got her foul attitude.
This would all have been different if she said sorry to hear their was a mistake. I’ll look into it. What was incorrect and can I remake it for you? Simple. I get that this is Waffle House we are discussing and not a 5 star restaurant ..but some sort of decency would...
Read moreThe update looks great, but unfortunately, staff and overall competency are lacking. I’ve been coming to WH for over 30 years and have seen the constant turnover. Because of that, I’ll cut WH and the waitress some slack but still want to be clear about my complaint.
We were seated in under 5 minutes and greeted promptly. We placed our order right away, as we already knew what we wanted. The waitress confirmed everything and submitted the order. However, when the food arrived, it was incorrect. She pointed out my order was wrong, possibly expecting me to brush it off, but I didn’t. Both meals were sent back, and when they returned, my partner’s was still wrong.
When we finally got her attention again, she seemed confused when he asked to just add the toppings himself, and I requested a soda. By the time the toppings were finally brought out, his food was cold. She had apparently lost our ticket and possibly the one for the table behind us as well.
She apologized repeatedly and said she was new. But regardless of experience, did she not write the order down? Listening is important, and if you can’t hear or don’t remember what was said, it’s perfectly fine to ask the customer to repeat it.
On another note: The water at this location is absolutely disgusting. Living in Lake Worth, I know it isn't their water. WH really needs to at minimum install a filter or something to remedy this.
Overall, had this been my 1st visit to WH, I wouldn't...
