Bubba Q's barbecue is actually a excellent place to grab food. The food is on point. The cooks do an excellent job each and every time I have ever been here. However, it's really bothersome to me to know that your Cashiers are okay for the most part. However, when the cashiers ask for your name and you give them your name, it's very disturbing and very disrespectful above all to try to take and shorten a person's name or change it altogether. My name is "Terrianna" not "Terry" as your cashier they should really concentrate and be more concerned about a person's name and the way it is spelled and pronounced. When I tried to correct the lady with the spelling and name her comment to me was oh. Really what a way to run a business I hope all of your Cashiers are not as inconsiderate as this lady was. After being out all day, now I have the hungry bugs. So I pull out my trusty Google and plug-in BBQ near me... BubbaQue's BBQ pops up. So I tap the directional icon to try out this particular location in Lakeland. I remember going to one of their other locations and it was awesome. Okay., I arrive here at BubbaQue's. I am ecstatic I stopped by to try'em. The customer service is awesome! Just like there other location I visited. The food! I tell you the succulent juices from the perfectly cooked ribs delay my use of barbecue sauce on them. The melt-in-your-mouth chicken makes a grand statement within itself. Read moreI'm a little peeved about the online ordering system. I called the restaurant, but it wasn't their fault. The online ordering system took things out of my order and I was not given an itemized confirmation at the checkout so I had no idea someone in my family would be missing her entire meal. I wasn't charged, but had I known that her entree had been randomly deleted off my order, I would have ordered something else. The manager and the girl who answered the phone were kind and gracious, even though I admittedly had a harsh tongue at first. (Sorry girls!) Like I said, it's not their fault, they just do what's on the ticket. The problem is, what's ordered online doesn't necessarily make it to the checkout and you get no warning that something is deleted.
