Glory Days used to have one of the best interactive allergen menus online but it appeared to have been deactivated and is nowhere to be found. With my horrible memory of what was and was not safe, I was left asking the server for an allergen menu.

The server Michelle admitted she had no knowledge but would find out for me. (Server was amazing ftr) Within three seconds a rather rude hostess appeared telling me they did not have a gluten free menu. Ok. But I asked for an allergen menu as I have many… so I reiterated I needed an allergen menu and asked to speak to a mgr.

Hostess goes to mgr and comes back 30 seconds later and again with attitude, tells me they have GF options but no menu. Mind you, she doesn’t know what the gf options are and says again they have no dedicated gf menu.

Sweetie… I didn’t ask for a gf menu. I asked for allergen information and your mgr. Go get her…

More attitude before the “mgr” shows up and also immediately says “we don’t have a gf menu”.

FFS someone listen to my request. I asked for an ALLERGEN menu. Not once did I say gluten free only. I explain my THREE allergens (gluten, dairy, soy) and I’m assured by the mgr that the wings and fries I want will be cooked in a dedicated fryer and will remain allergen compliant. Ok. I’ll give it a whirl…

Food comes out and there’s a cup of ranch on my plate despite me saying no ranch and explaining again the dairy allergy. Thankfully that was not spilled and didn’t appear to be an issue.

Food was decent at best. Wings were over cooked with minimal honey old bay sauce (which I thankfully remembered was allergen safe).

If you want great wings and safe fries, Glory Days is an amazing option. But skip the Lakeland location and drive to Winter Haven. Never once had an issue at the WH location . This location is filled with college kids that have ZERO knowledge of allergens and had no problem giving attitude to customers. (Not to mention talking trash and cursing while clearing tables nearby.)

This location is a hard pass from now on.

*Edit. It’s been 20 minutes and I’m nauseous. So much for...

Waitress took forever to come and take our order, then never came back. Had the nachos for an appetizer. There were 3 pieces of chicken on the tray, cold and dry, no bar-b-que sauce, and the chips had an incredible amount of salt on them.

We ordered our food from another waitress because our original waitress was nowhere to be found. We ordered two burgers, the mushroom, onion burger and the blue burger (both medium) and the boneless wings. One burger was medium(as requested) but had no onions on it and three mushrooms, the blue burger was still mooing as it was raw and no blue cheese or balsamic on it. Sent the blue burger back, all they did was put different bread on it, still raw. Both burgers came with fries that had so much salt on them that we literally were scrapping off all the salt to eat them. The boneless wings were dry and cold. Nobody finished their meal.

Had to get a third waitress to get our check because waitress one and two never returned.

We ate here when the restaurant first opened and didn’t care for it then, years later, we decided to give them another try and we will NEVER return. Bill was over $70 and they wanted an 18% tip. Couldn’t figure out who the tip would go to seeing as nobody ever returned. Most of the staff was more interested in talking about the latest gossip with each other then taking care of the customers.

Made it home only to find out that two out of the three people that ate there got food poisoning. Not only did the meal cost a lot, but it came with a nice doctor bill as well.

DO NOT EAT HERE! There are much better establishments in the Lakeland area that are worth the...

We’ve been visiting Glory Days with our kids for a long time—it’s always been a great family-friendly spot where the kids can be loud and entertained by the TVs. It hurts me to give this review. However, on our most recent visit, we encountered a really disappointing experience.

My son ordered kids sliders with no cheese, yet the cheese was visibly peeled off and bits were spread across the meat. Instead of fresh patties the cooks just took the easy, lazy way out. If there was an allergy it would have been a much bigger issue. We let that slide, but then waited on our own meals. We ordered our usual buffalo chicken sandwiches—mine with a side of ranch and my wife’s with honey mustard (she oddly prefers it with fries)—and both specified no blue cheese as always.

Instead of the familiar presentation, our sandwiches arrived on white plates and were prepared as plain chicken sandwiches with buffalo sauce served on the side. Instead of the moist, juicy sandwich we normally get they were completely parched.

When you add up the scraped off cheese, the white plates, the really dry chicken, the presentation of the meal, the forgetting of the silver ware that I forgot to mention we got a really bad feeling and vibe. Furthermore, the waitress never input the code to earn points on the Glory Days app which we always use.

The manager was courteous and worked to rectify the situation, but it still left us with the impression that something was seriously off behind the scenes. It’s a real shame, as finding genuinely family-friendly restaurants is...

You know those restaurants you hit up because they have really cheap and decent drinks? Like, you don’t go there for really any other reason than that. The food isn’t great, and you don’t expect it to be but when you’re wanting a cocktail and some socializing for Reasonable prices, it’s your go-to. Yeah, that’s Glory Days for you. The food is honestly pretty bad. It’s super basic sports bar & grill food and that’s all I can give it. The wings are average, the nachos are average and so are the appetizers. One thing I do love is that they will make gluten-free nachos which my friend with Celiac appreciates tons. But again, just don’t come here solely for the food, or you will be disappointed completely. Even the service is just super lackluster. I’ve picked up DoorDash orders from here and it’s always hit or miss if they’ll be ready on time or if a worker will even be around to help you. When you sit in the waitress may just straight up avoid you for 10-15 minutes at a time. All of its spotty. Seriously, just come for the drinks. They are fantastic prices for really big glasses. No complaints there, when the expectations aren’t set higher. Keep the bar loooooowwww. It’s painful, but Glory Days really doesn’t seem a name and place reminiscent on an old sports bar that actually had good food and service along with its drinks. Like this place is stuck looking back at their good ole “glory days”, and they’re so focused on the past that present has completely fallen short and been ignored. Oh, the good old glory days (if there were some).

Our server, Mike, was very attentive. We were happy with him as a server. Manager came over at one point and asked if everything was okay, which I appreciated. Food was good. We were little disappointed with guacamole with chips as it had zero flavor and had such large chunks of avocado that it didn't really resemble guacamole but squashed avocado but the chips were good. Chicken tenders were good but tasted a little like something else, like maybe the grease needed changed. In fact there's little flecks of something in the tenders that I think is kicked up in the fryer when that is hot. I know it's not seasoning on the tenders because it's not on all of them and I've worked around fryers before. Banana bread pudding was just okay. I've had way better bread pudding. This was very eggy and solid. Wasn't terrible but wouldn't reorder it. Pimento crunch burger came out less than medium cooked (what we asked) but most places over cook if anything and so it was all good. Would order again. Coleslaw is not a sweet coleslaw but very creamy and not vinegar tasting. It was very good. We usually like sweeter tasting coleslaw but found this to be a nice change. Overall this is a nice place to eat if you want to watch some sports or if you have a get together with friends and plan on talking kind of loudly. This establishment is not quiet at all so if you don't like noise, this is not the place for you. We have been several times and will return in the future.

I actually never thought I could go into a restaurant where you see maybe 2-3 tables being occupied max, yet you still wait over an hour to get your own appetizer! Waitress was all over the place, possibly on something the way she was so erratic and asking us to confirm things we ordered not even 5 minutes ago from her placing the order! Personally saw the manager make the bartender serve me my drink because it was just sitting there and she had better, more important things to do like scroll on her cellphone and gossip with her fellow colleagues, after waiting over almos,t if not, over an hour, we finally had enough and wanted to leave, we offered to pay the drinks and the ONE of THREE apps that actually made it out, Manager came and offered to partially compensate the meal, claims everything was ready which i dont believe if we only got one appetizer why couldnt we get the rest of them, they were all fried items so we declined and offered to pay what we consumed which I guess surprised the manager because after the fact, he didnt even want to acknowledge our presence and was STILL making mistakes on what was needed.... Bad service, disappointing quality overall but what really showcases their lack of care and quality to their service is we didnt even get the proper order in what the manager did compensate... probably retaliation from being upset that we weren't interested anymore in their business but, again the work will always speak for itself!
