I had to drive 40 mins to get a simple box to return my son's school books, being that no one else seemed to have the size I needed, so when I get there, it is starting to rain. I quickly grab my baby and place him on my hip, grab my 6yo by the hand, and my umbrella, and start navigating quickly through the parking lot so as to not get run over as well. I didn't want to drop my baby just to hold an umbrella and my other son, so I just made a dash for the door. Now, I know there are rules due to covid19, but people should also use common sense. I've only done curbside pickup in all other stores I've shopped at, and don't really shop at target, so I didn't know there was a line outside to go in. As I'm about to run inside to pick up my box at the pickup counter (which was empty of guests), a guy outside controlling the walk-in line yells at me to get in the line. I'm confused because I literally just got an email that my order was ready and to go to the counter, so I ask him did I have to make the line to go just inside to the pickup counter, he says yup. Okay...I make my way to the line, and now the rain is really starting to come down, meanwhile, my kids are getting wet. I don't mind waiting, but he could've used a little common sense and told me to wait under cover. The line makes its way in, as do I. Once at the counter, the girl, and entire transaction took less than two minutes. I had to drive 40 minutes to get treated this way, so needless to say I won't be using this or any target near me, nor...
Read moreIt’s a time old tale- when you walk into a Target, it don’t matter what you went in to buy. You could make a strict list and try not to get distracted grabbing anything outside of it, but no matter how hard you try, you WILL leave Target with more than you planned to. We’ve all been there, still are there, or will be there in the near future.
I love me some Target, like most women. It’s overall a pretty great store- they have cute and affordable clothes, a ton of home decor/ furniture, usually a good amount of food and produce, pharmacy and more. Going on a random trip to stroll through Target is a fantastic use of an hour or two.
This is one of two Targets in Lakeland, and is the south location. It’s generally a super nice location, as most Targets are known to be. It’s the one I frequent, but I do think the north Lakeland Target is the superior store. This south Target has a really random and small selection of produce, and they just never seem to have the overall stock that the north store does. They are out of random things at random times, so you can almost never conveniently get all you need in one stop if you are doing all your grocery shopping there.
Otherwise, this store is awesome. They have a Starbucks, which can be nice if you want a caffeine/ sweet fix. The workers have always been so friendly in my experience, especially Miss Cheryle- she’s a star, and deserves some high praise for how...
Read morestop dishonest store intercom broadcast, stating local ordinance requires mask wearing, when it doesn't. since I have a copy of our local ordinance, which states that just social distancing is acceptable & in accordance with CDC guidelines. so target continues to virtue signal as several other retailers do as well. forcing mask wearing on customers when many studies prove the lack of effectiveness in mask wearing in preventing corona virus infection. I prefer shopping in store to any type of online pick up. since my store visits have to be infringed with unnecessary mask regulation, I shop less at target then before. now I go only, when I absolutely have to. which does save me money on impulse shopping. so congratulations target. by reducing my store visits you are curbing my spending. until this mask wearing nonsense is in line with the actual CDC guidelines, I will give the lowest review possible every time you ask for one. just as I did with Sam's club. now when I shop at Sam's club they refrain from sending me an after shopping survey. imagine that, when retailers don't hear what they want they stop asking. so I expect target will most likely do the same. but hey at least I got you with one really low...
