Aloah Waianae community and Oahu people. If you're in Florida, drop by La Granja Peruvian Food. My 6-year-old granddaughter ate the seafood soup. I was shocked she loved the soup. The soup had so many flavors going on. The chicken was excellent. I really didn't care for the rice. I'm oriental I do like my sticky rice medium grain. My daughter told me to mix it with the black beans much better. The pasta was excellent, and I didn't try the steak it was a nice portion. 2 plates, 1 big bowl of soup with rice, and 3 drinks $55. They will clean the table for you. And the restroom was clean. And you can refill your drinks. Good customer service. Aloha and Mahalo (Thank you) for your excellent food and customer service.

This Peruvian food place has a good variety of food items on their menu. We had chicken soup and aguadito soup, both had a good amount of chicken and good enough to repeat the visit. The burrito bowl and Lomo saltado were also very good. The food amount may be more than the average person can handle. They also have a salsa bar with a variety of good tasting salsas with different levels of heat. The ceviche is pretty decent. We visited La Granja for the first time in Orlando some months ago, this is our second visit to La Granja but in Lakeland.

Lakeland's best kept secret. This restaurant is located in the old pizza hut building on South Florida Avenue. My son who lives in St. Petersburg told me about it and I'm so glad he did. It has the best food with large portions and cooked fresh the variety of sauces are all delicious. The restaurant is clean and the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend the beef sautéed it's absolutely delicious.

The picture featured on their menu did not depict the one that was served to me. I ordered the seafood fried rice and only got shrimp with the fried rice. The picture showed clams, squid and shrimps. What a big disappointment. When I asked the cashier why I only had shrimps she said, oh did you want that. I can give to you. Please make that 2 because my friend ordered same and got same as mine. Cashier came back to my table to inform me that they did not have mussels and squid. I asked to speak to the manager and she said manager is not there and she is the manager today. I asked her why she did not inform me ahead of time when I ordered and she said I was at the front and I did not know. You should know what you have available since you are the manager today. This is false advertisement. This is my first time here and would like to support your business and I was very disappointed with the way my order was handled. I asked her what are you going to do about this? Well we gave you 7 shrimps ..was her answer, and left. She was flagged back by my friend to come back minutes later. My friend asked her, can she have something else? Since you started eating your food , she repeatedly said, I will give you back your money and I will have to take that food back. I advised the cashier/covering manager that this is not good customer service..they will not be able to retain customers if this is how they run this business especially that it is a new restaurant. She could have offered to add a piece of meat to go with my meal but did do anything to appease me. My seafood fried rice with 7 shrimps was $19.99. She did not even apologize. It was a total disappointment, very poor and rude customer service, false advertising. Even if cashier refunded my money, I Will not return to this newly opened restaurant in their Lakeland, Florida branch. 3 out of 5 of us was not happy with our orders. 1 of my friend ordered the ceviche and said it was good, the other one had the steak and was satisfied with it. The 3 of us...

This place is absolutely OUTSTANDING! All the staff were very professional & very polite! Service was excellent, nothing to complain about. Wife ate here once, excellent experience. Brought home food another time & the food was absolutely delicious. Today was my 1st time actually eating at the restaurant with my Wife & eating food from here the 3rd time, & it's never disappointing. The food is seasoned so well that one dosen't have to use any sauces. But the sauces are outstanding & a lot of variety! Wife is Spanish & we eat a lot of Spanish foods, so we know good Spanish cuisine. Wife & I will keep coming back! This is from a 100% gringo. I read all the reviews & I have to give mine considering the bad reviews I read. I don't know what happened to the individuals who wrote the bad reviews? Maybe staff members from the surrounding...

Customer service has to be improved right away or they will lose all business. Seems like favoritism towards their own. My first 2 visits was fine, food decent. This last visit was an immediate "never going to return". Rice undercooked and super salty as were the sauces. The cashier tried to get me to pay for "the special" when all I asked for was a side of rice. Absolutely not. The staff may have changed because they were very pleasant a few months ago, now they offer no apologies for their mistakes or lack of knowledge of the menu. It took the cashier about 10 minutes to ring me up, she didn't know the pricing of a side of rice. Wow. I watched as she, "the manager" and the chef talked about me. Guess they didn't know that I know Spanish....
