Selfish drivers round here who make it hard by blocking the road. It's not too hard to either get a parking spot or, for those who need to be dropped off at door, a speedier drop off. No reason for a car to be sitting there for more than 10 minutes, no intent of dropping anyone off nor picking up someone in need. You can either park until your passenger is ready, or if you have no such scenario... STOP BLOCKING TRAFFIC!!!! You are not the only person on the road, and there are an abundance of spaces.
Speaking of road conditions, they have some of the most unsafe entrances and exits. If entering from South Florida Ave., probably wait for the light, so you can ensure the safety of those in your vehicle and others in the road. (Sister had car accident here.) Other exits/ entrance can be iffy based on drivers and layout. Be alert when you drive here and expect people will not yield to traffic signs, lights, or courtesy. It's the Wild West out here y'all!
Some stores in here are lackluster or a bit pricey. In my opinion, there are a few practical stores and restaurants here. Without naming names, the rest should be replaced. Not quite sure how some of them generate a profit year after year... I never see anyone enter or exit the least popular or, more appropriately, with any purchase in hand. Dinky ol' outlet slowly...
Read moreThis is probably THE place to shop in Lakeland. I love the fact that Ross, Ulta, and Marshalls are all on the same strip together. It makes comparison shopping for clothing, beauty products, and home goods so easy and efficient. The convenience makes shopping enjoyable. I personally do not patron it often but a Hobby Lobby is also in the square and I can visually see that it is very popular too. I will note that the Ross in this shopping plaza is probably the best Ross in the state of Florida, and I do not say this because I reside in Lakeland. I say this because I travel extensively throughout Florida visiting friends and family including Miami, Orlando, Tampa, St Petersburg, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, and Pensacola and the Ross back in Lakeland always seems to have the best stock of...
Read moreI like Ross. I like the deals. Its my go to store for shoes , sheets, and a few other items. What gets on my nerves is you'll have a line wrapped around the store and only 2 registers open. This is one of the cleanest Ross's I've been in. Bravo to the people working their. Most stores are cluttered with stuff falling off the shelves. This Ross is relatively neat and from speaking with the employees that is no small task. You think Wal-Mart treats their employees bad? Go work for Ross's. I promise its a lot worse. Just open up some damn registers when you get busy. I've walked out three times with because I wasnt going to wait in line for 20 mins. just to save...
