Where do I start? I went in with my wife and our two children, and ordered 2 #5's (3 piece tender), a kits boneless meal with a soda, and a Honey BBQ chicken sandwich meal with mashed potatoes.
Upon entering, the manager was getting onto the cashier about owing the lady ahead of us 25 cents, while the lady was trying to let them know that it was okay and not to worry about.
We place our order and go sit down...A few minutes later, they call me up to get some of the food. Two of which are bone-in chicken meals, and the other is the kids meal. This is not what we ordered, but I figured this was no big deal and went up to let them know of the mistake. The cashier and manager proceed to get into a discussion about how I said I wanted a 3 piece and it was my fault because I did not specify that we wanted chicken tenders. This is not correct, as I specifically asked for 2 #5's.
I eventually get the correct food, and then get back to the table, only to find that they provided apple juice rather than a soda for the kid's meal. Once again, I make a trip to the counter, where I am then told that they should upcharge me for the soda, because it's not what I ordered. I said that it should have been put in as a soda, so it must just be a mistake...and I eventually get the soda, avoiding any silly upcharge...
Finally, they bring out my meal, which is supposed to be the sandwich and mashed potatoes. I take a bite of the sandwich, and it is actually pretty good. But then, I look at it, and my first bite had just narrowly missed a sheet of paper that I assume is used to separate the cheese. They did not peel it off when they made the sandwich. I'm beyond annoyed at this point, and decide to eat my mashed potatoes. However, to my amusement, they did not give them to me! At this point, my family and I were frustrated enough that we decided to just leave.
We were the only customers dining in during our visit, and while the restaurant was clean, the diet coke was completely out. That didn't stop the manager from sitting in the dining room on her phone for a good 15 minutes. The amount of mistakes they made with my order was almost comical, but then to blame me for each one was completely out of line and unprofessional.
We will not be going back to...
Read moreWhere to begin...if I could give negative stars I would give an infinite amount of them. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. That being said, most of the staff is nice but the General Manager is the nastiest person I have ever encountered in a restaurant and I have worked in a restaurant with some nasty people.
My husband and Mother-in-Law placed orders through the app and everything seemed to go fine until my husband and I went to pick up the orders. When we got to the establishment, after waiting in the drive thru for over 30 minutes, because the inside was closed, we tried to place another order only to be told by the GM that we couldn't place an order if we were picking up orders. She assumed we were either Grubhub or Ubereats and didn't care when we explained that we were picking up personal orders and making a personal order. She told us we would have to go around and wait in the drive thru again to place an order. She also proceeded to tell us, very rudely, that "she didn't know why we were able to order the fish sandwiches because we haven't had fish at this place for months." We exchanged the fish sandwiches for chicken sandwiches.
We picked up our 2 app orders and went home only to find out we didn't receive the chicken sandwiches. My husband called the store and was told by the manager that he had 2 choices...either come back and get the sandwiches that she was looking at on the counter or she would leave a note and he could pick them up another day. We went back to pick them up and was very rudely told to go inside the lobby to get the sandwiches because the drive thru was closed.
THIS MANAGER NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!
My advice to everyone is DO NOT EAT AT THIS POPEYES!!! It is not worth it. KFC has...
Read moreToday I tried to use the Popeyes drive-thru just after 2:30 to grab a late lunch. There was a car in front of me at the speaker box, and I assumed they were ordering. Once they drove towards the service window, I approached the box and waited about a minute to be greeted so I could place my order. I tried to say hello and waited another minute to see if I would be acknowledged. I said "hello, can I order" to which I was again greeted by silence. It was a rainy day and I thought the box may be malfunctioning so I pulled around and waited for the car at the window to get their food and leave. As I pulled up, the person at the register walked away without speaking to me. I waited at the empty window, which was open, for a moment. I saw someone from the kitchen walk by, again with no acknowledgement. Once again to an empty space, I said "hello". A person appeared from around the corner and I told him that I'd waited at the box for a while but assumed it was broken since there was no acknowledgement after a multiple attempts to order. I was then refused service at the window, and told I'd have to loop back through the drive through and place an order at the box if I wanted to order. After already wasting my time sitting in a drive through that had no interest in taking money from a paying customer, I had no interest in waiting any longer with the hope that someone would possibly acknowledge me the second time around. I have previously visited this Popeyes and, and know their typical procedure is to acknowledge a person at the drive through within a few seconds even if to just inform them you'll be right with them. Completely ignoring and refusing service to a customer is a way to lose a...
