Place was recommended by a local faithful customer. Atmosphere crowded and uncomfortably hot. Three people ordered breakfast. Oatmeal very watery, corned beef has burnt (black on one side) hashbrowns tasted burnt politely got up and explained food was mostly burnt. Did not want to order again. Later discovered iPhone missing. Called restaurant and was told they were very busy and no one found phone. Checked at home using tablet to find location and it located phone behind restaurant. Drove back to find phone and ask all businesses in immediate area if iPhone turned in. No luck. Went back inside restaurant and server was sitting down eating lunch. He said they were very busy and we could look in seating area but not behind counter. Went around restaurant and looked in parking lot. When pinging phone, it was heard in a recycling dumpster. Had to climb into dumpster to get phone at bottom of dumpster. Sounds like they were trying to show us (retaliate)for us walking away from our burnt meal.

I really like this local coffee shop, even if they occasionally mess my order up. They are also only open for breakfast, which is ok most weekdays but it gets really crowded on the weekends. So plan ahead to have a wait to be seated on weekends. Although they have some outside seating, it's not nearly enough for the crowd on weekends to prevent a wait time of up to 5-20 minutes. It's well worth the wait though! I'm never impatient enough about the wait to go somewhere else, because their food is really worth the wait when compared to the other restaurants in the area and the price is reasonable for the amount of food they serve you. Parking is easy since they are located in a small mall in downtown Lakeport in Lake County CA. Whether a tourist or local, you will find the atmosphere there hard to beat. As they are friendly and helpful to all.

Everybody kept talking about the Shoreline Coffee Shop and how great the breakfast is, they even warned me about leaving town without stopping for food. One old gummer said he relayed my license plate number to the sheriff and said I better have a breakfast receipt when I get to the county line, or he'll tow my truck back to the Shoreline! Well, I went and got a breakfast sandwich, and I'll say this...It was Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

It is truly a greasy spoon. I have been there a couple of times before and it was standard diner food. Not bad. Today the wait for my order to be taken was quite a while. That would have been okay because it was quite busy and I do not mind waiting; my food was very bad. The eggs were so raw it was disturbing and the potatoes very cold. When I asked for something else I was told they could fix my breakfast. I asked for a different breakfast and was charged for half of the first one and wholly for the second. I do not mind paying for the portion I choked down but I was a little vexed over the fact that I "should have allowed them to fix it". I did not want to argue nor make a scene. All in all it ended okay....
